DESCRIPTION TOPCON GTS-303 Total Station- This is a great little instrument that I have been using for about 7 years now. I purchased it used for $2200 in 2006. I use this total station primarily for mortgage lot surveys. TOPO, and short traverses. Both of the batteries included were re-celled about 3 months ago and each one will last about 2 days of vigorous data collection. The instrument shows signs of wear(mostly from the previous owner) But it has been quite the workhorse for me. This instrument is ready to use, but it could use a calibration- in a traverse I ran a couple of weeks ago, a 1600' traverse closed at around 6 hundredths(an indirect horizontal scope is about 40 seconds off) I was quoted $100 from a well respected survey supply company to do a full calibration.
