Hilger & Watts precision microptic clinometer 142/43 type TB100 with wood case!
Description This is a Hilger& Watts Microptic clinometer model 143/43 type TB100 with original case and some tools. Looks to be in great cosmetic condition. The plastic eye piece is damaged but still stays on. The numbers are clear in the lens and all the knobs move smoothly. We don't have the expertise to fully test this so it is being sold as-is no returns not fully tested. With nice wood case. The government paid $11.525 for this in 2006, you can get it for a fraction of that cost. As pictured. I think this is probably very old because type of this size is more commonly found made of metal(Foundry Type) It reminds me of the font used for the Old Wanted Posters. BIG LOT 140 VINTAGE WOOD METAL TYPE SET PRINTING LETTER BLOCKS LETTERPRESS TRAY
Nice lot of approx 140 blocks. Some metal but most are wood. They are in an early printer type tray of some sort. Could use a quick clean and some oil to bring out the color on the frame and some of the blocks.They are all loose so you can arrange and spell what you want. There is some tape residue on back of tray from masking tape that was on it.

My information came from comparing this to other photos and descriptions. This bayonet& scabbard has no marking I could find. This bayonet is approx. 12-1/2” long. The blade has a dagger like blade from the tip back 5” Then the top edge thickens to a spine with only the bottom edge sharp. The last 1-1/2” of the blade is a dull. Grey, finish? It matches the finish on the end cap and the barrel fitting. The grips are two piece wood. They are tight fitting and solid. This piece looks somewhat vintage bUT shows no real wear or signs of use. This is a wind up clock by J Oswald from the Blackforest area in Germany probably made between the 30's and 50's. His eyes rotate to tell the time. He is about 6 inches tall.
