Gerber Omega CP 2.6.1 Sign Making Software w/ Dongle & Manuals for Edge/Plotters
Hello. Fellow ebayers. This software came with some Gerber equipment that I bought last year. I use FlexiSIGN, so I have no use for it. I did install it on a computer running XP Pro and it worked just fine. I think it is used to run most Gerber printers and plotters. The 2 manuals are still sealed as from the factory. The Omega 2.6.1 CD package was opened. All the other software is still sealed. The dongle end is a little bent, but it plugs in and works as it should. Up for sale is a Gerber Edge thermal printer(6052 print minutes) with GS15 plus cutter and many extras. Both machines are in working condition with all cords. Also included is Gerber Omega software package and 22 foil ribbons. 2 Gerber roll holders, Edge color selector book and a 2007 digital auto library and other extras and accessories. I obtained this equipment from a sign shop that I was employed at several years ago that decided to upgrade all of their equipment and no longer had any need for this. It was originally my intention to put this equipment to use for myself but I have not had any time to pursue it and instead of it just sitting around collecting dust I feel like it would be better to let someone get some actual use out of it. This equipment was purchased new by the shop I worked at and I am just the second owner, it has been ... morein storage for awhile but I just ran some test prints within the last couple of days. The printer prints good and everything functions properly but it does print with 3 lines or pixels missing across the head(see photo) The cutter powers on and it will run through all the functions but actual cutting was not performed. 2 Gerber Edge 1 Printers, HS-15 Plotter, And 60+ Foils!!!
This listing is for 2 Gerber Edge 1 thermal printers. A Gerber HS-15 plotter, and approximately 63 rolls of foil for the printers. The 2 gerber edge printers are sold as-is for parts or repair as I don't know what's wrong with them. The guy I bought them from said they didn't work but he wasn't sure what was wrong with them either because he didn't know how to work on them. They are both in good physical condition, one has a side panel off but the panel is included in the listing. The printers could be easy fixes but I don't know enough about them to be sure. The plotter is also sold as-is because it has the motor carriage out of it right now(seller told me) but there is a box of some parts and cords included so it could possible be an easy repair as well. The last thing included in the listing is approximately 63 ... morefoils for the printers. Most of them are used, a couple new ones, a couple used up nearly all the way but I just left them in the lot. Most of the rolls are 100 yard rolls and 50 yard rolls with a couple 25 yard rolls included as well. I did go through and check and see how much% of each roll was left and wrote on each box, the average is about 40-50% per roll. These foils still sell for about a $1 a yard so there is approximately $2000 worth just in the foils! This lot could really be an amazing deal for somebody who knows how to work on these things. PACKAGE! Gerber Edge I(circa 1999) GSX plus 15" plotter/cutter, Gerber Color ID, Signlab 6.1 software(circa 2002) at least a dozen color ribbons, misc. 15" vinyls. PLUS! a Moxa NPORT and a Trendnet"print server" that make this edge system into a NETWORK(ethernet) printer/cutter! all the manuals included too) This whole system was working when I disconnected it! The computer that was running it went down.and I didn't want to go through the TIME to set the whole thing back up. It's a bit tricky working with"older technology" as this- if you're not computer/network savy- you'll need help. This isn't going to be a plug and play thing. I moved onto LARGE FORMAT inkjets years ago.so this edge has actually seen very little production. I've only ever replaced the blade in the cutter once(that's ... morehow little I actually used it) I WILL NOT SEPARATE these items- it's a PACKAGE DEAL.
