This Bourg BB1001 is a one-owner well-functioning recently-used machine available inexpensively due to liquidation of the local book printing/binding operation. manuals. Including a shop manual are included as well as about 30# of glue. The binder is about ten years old and has functioned well. Perfect for a small on-demand book operation. Note the scanned specifications in the graphics. This is one of the least expensive binders providing in-line spine preparation to assure a good bind. The BB1001 has an incorporated vacuum system to keep the system clean of paper powder. Glue pot and spine temperature have been identified as critical to achieving a good bind. A separate GBC 2000XT jogging hot-plate(included) has been useful for in-line treatment of the book block before binding. Bourg describes an operating cycle up to 200 per hour.
