I bought out a printing business& have equipment for sale. This sale is for a Multigraphics 4610K printing press. This machine was the workhorse for this business. It is fully functional& prints really well. Im not a printer so I dont know how to use it. But it does power up& runs. Not sure how to make paper go through it. I can share a video of it running while in operation. The silver cylinder looks great with no holes. The Blanket looks smooth. It has a T51 Townsend swing away head on it with electrical lift. So this printing press can print multi colors at one pass. This press will do 11x17 landscape. Im not sure of all the specs on this machine, but Im sure if your a printer you can find out. AB Dick 350 Offset Printing Press- Used for On-Press Perf/Score/Slit I never used this press to print although the previous owner did. I used it to perforate tickets and NCR forms. At the time it was the only way I could afford the ability to offer perforation. Scoring and slitting. I couldn't buy an actual perforating unit and I saved money by offering this service in-house instead of outsourcing it. And it's a lot less expensive than buying pre-perforated stock. I got this press back at the very beginning of my business. I have since purchased an actual unit to do these tasks and on larger sheets. The press has been in storage for a couple of years and I need to get it moved. It was running great when we put it away. If you want to use it as a printing press you will need to replace all the rubber rollers. I cannot and will not ... moreguarantee that it will print as I myself never used it to print. I can only go by the previous owner's words but I trust him because everything else I bought off of him works as he advertised. You can go to H. S. Boyd(hsboyd.com) and check out the products you can use. I bought the side-rules of Litho-Perf. Litho-Score, Litho-Slit, Litho-Snap and Micro-Perf. They have videos on their site to show you how to set-up. There are several ways to set-up. If you buy this you can call me and I'll give you some pointers for free. If you're within 150 miles of me I will come to your shop and teach you, also for free. You can use these rules on many presses but you will need to constantly change blankets. Adjust your pressure, etc. between printed jobs so why not buy a press that you can dedicate to finishing processes and save time and money. Up for bids is this very nice antique limestone lithograph stone. It was found in the home of an artist in Cincinnati. Ohio who was well known in the 1920's and 30's. She did a lot of art for advertisements of that time. This stone has a great advertisement for Boss Stoves. The stone measures 14" X 18" X 2.75" thick. It is in very nice condition. From what I am told the piece is good shape for as old as it is. It moves freely with no binding. It has 4 patented dates on the side dating May 26.1886/ Apl 12,1887/ March12 1889& Jan,1890 which is rare.There is also a stamped date on the handle May 26 1886. The measurements are 28" in width, 42" in height and 44" in lenght. It would make a nice addition to any collection or antique for display. Vandercook Universal I Power printing press letterpress
I am selling our Vandercook Universal I Power press. This is an automatic press with ink distributor rollers and an adjustable bed. I have only had it since the summer and have decided to let it go since I prefer a hand crank Vandercook. I have only printed one poster on it since in my possession. I have replaced the tape and sanded and powder coated the feed board for a nice smooth finish. The ink rubber rollers and all metal rollers are in great shape. The bed is in good shape too given its age. The two motors are also in good mechanical shape too. It also comes with a good amount of tympan and draw sheets. Lockup bar, a replacement part for the press(not sure the name of the part) ink clean up tray, an additional rubber blade for the clean tray and a specialty wrench. Swiftset Rotary Printer: This vintage printing machine was made by the Superior Marking Equipment Co. in Chicago Illinois. This is model# 8502 and comes with everything pictured. I cannot get the ink bottle open- and I don't hear any liquid sloshing around in there! There are letters. A couple graphics, tweezers, clamps, wooden and metal frames. There is an instruction book and also a Swiftset Printers Journal published 1946. I'm assuming the tin machine is from around the same time frame. The handles move freely so I believe this would be functioning with ink on the roll. Nice piece of printing nostalgia!
