Vintage. Older Model MBM FastFold Jet Speed Automatic Paper Folder Model F5CA. I know nothing about these machines. I plugged it in. And it works. Turned it on, and the motor runs strong and smooth with no odd sounds. I used the speed adjustment, which also seemed to work as it should, and there is a power adjustment on it as well, I guess for heavier card stock paper, which also seemed to work as it should. That being said. It's older and rather dusty with dusty grease around the gears. I can't tell if anything is missing, broken or not working as it should beyond what I described above. I'm certain it will need at the very least a servicing before being put back into regular use, and it may require more. I encourage questions from those of you interested in the machine. Baum 714XE Ultrafold air feed paper folder with stand and sound dampening kit
You are bidding on an used Baum XE Ultrafold air feed folder. It will fold a 3 X 5 inch sheet up to a 14 X 20 inch sheet. This folder belongs to a friend of mine. I am selling it for him. You can tell by looking at the folder that it has had quite a lot of use but after I cleaned it up and oiled it and ran it. It runs very well. He told me that some time back it had been professionally rebuilt. The rollers are still in good condition and the gears only show a little wear. If you run your finger across the rollers you can feel a slight ridge on both sides which gives away the fact that most of what it was used for was probably 8.5 inches wide paper. I placed a strip of paper on both edges and the center of each roller nip and the pressure was still very firm and even all the way across. It folds crisply and pretty consistently. This folder ... morehas the newer style feeder. This is important. No matter what folder you buy, try to get one with a feed wheel that looks like the one in the third picture of this auction. These newer style feeders feed much better than any of the older designs do. Just don't try to put to large of lifts of paper in any folder. I folded 8.5 X 11 20# bond in half and also a letter fold and it worked well. I also folded 11 X 17 20# bond in half. Then just for kicks I took some of those and folded them in an 8.5 X 11 letter fold. I did have to baby the stack some to get it to feed but it did OK. I didn't have any coated stock to try in it but am pretty sure it would handle coated OK if you play with the air and vacuum a little. In addition to being rebuilt a while ago it also has had a new drive motor put in it. I don't know how long ago. It comes with the operator/parts book, two new motor brushes, two new orange sheet separators and the perf and score wheels. Great vintage original. Authorized Barbie paper doll from 1967. From Whiteman& Mattel. Included in auction is one Barbie paper doll and the folder, 1976:59. Doll measures 11-5/8" tall and is wearing a floral multi-colored strapless bathing suit with pink shoes and matching hair bow. She has long blonde, yellow hair with blue eyes and red lips and wears long yellow diamond, teardrop earrings. Barbie has a crease at neck, bend at right wrist, crease on left by elbow and bent knees. There is paper lift on right finger. The folder measures 13" x 9-7/8" when closed. It opens to storage for paper dolls and clothing with a slit on each side. The condition is good. The front cover has nice bright colors; has one bend corner and a tear in right lower from the stable coming out; the inside left has nice bright colors and a tear on ... moreslit for dolls approximately 7/8" on the middle crease of folder the bottom staple had been torn out and left a diamond shaped paper loss of 2" the right side of the folder has nice bright colors and a tear on the right side of the slit for clothing storage. MBM Model 93M tabletop paper folder
Folder is used but has very little use. Works perfectly and has no cosmetic damage or marks. Our church used it briefly but when we purchased a new copying machine it contained an integrated folder making this one surplus. This is ideal for church or small office. Will fold up to 7200 pieces per hour. 4 different folds available. Half, letter, zig zag and double. Setting the two plates manually for the desired type of fold, loading the paper and pressing the start button is all that is required.
