This aluminium desk lamp is an original 1970's Australian made industrial light in a similar design to the Planet lamps though adjustment is through wing nut type adjustable joints. Produced by THEW& McCANN PTY. LTD. UNIBEAM" Cat. No. 50. 240V. 60 watt ac. only Approval No. N126. The cast iron base has 2 holes on to which the base is bolted to the desk work bench table top or wall. The base is adjustable in four different axes. The centre joint that joins the 2 hollow aluminum tubes is adjustable in 3 axes with the aluminium& plastic coated brass nut, the head is adjustable through 2 axis with the turn of a steel wing nut. At the head of the lamp is the white on off switch. The lamp does have some signs of corrosion with rust on the wing nut suppose this could be swapped or replaced as could the centre bolt which has surface ... morerust on the head of the bolt only, the cast iron base is painted black though also has some very light surface rust. The aluminium light globe shield shade is original matt black with spots of oxide here and there, the inside is bright white enamel. This is an old antique gold gilt made in Italy lamp from old local estate. The lamp is 16" tall and has a 5 3/4" by 5 3/4" wood base. The lamp section is gold gilt metal. The white china flowers are 2" and in nice condition. The lamp has a made in Italy metal tag and an old sticker reads Pauls Products. See photos. The old shade has ecru color lace and pink French ribbon flowers. The only defect I see is a sloppy person painted a room and left a few paint splats on lamp base. VINTAGE ALADDIN ALACITE LOTUS BLOSSOM ELECTRIC TABLE LAMP for RESTORATION A vintage. Lotus, Aladdin alacite electric table lamp with heavily embossed flowers. The flowers are in a salmon color and the background is white. There is a night light in the base of this lamp that will look fantastic when lit. The socket for the light and extension for the night light look original and so does the metal base. Everything is there but it needs to be re-wired, put back together, and a shade added. This lamp measures approximately 21 1/2" tall(to the top of the shade bracket) Just the glass part of the lamp measures about 10 1/2" high and the metal base adds another 1" in height. The overall height of the metal base is about 1 3/4" x 1 3/8" inside diameter(where the lamp sits) x 5" outside diameter. With the metal base(but ... morewithout the socket or harp) measures about 11 1/2" The width of the glass is about 5 1/4" These lamp parts are in good condition with only a small chip on the neck of the lamp(see photo, the socket still screws in place nicely) there is some paint loss on the flowers and fading in color, the metal base looks good and the glass screws down nicely, there is a small split in the brass below the socket(on the threaded collar) it needs to be re-wired, needs a finial and a shade. The 2 arms are curved in opposite directions at top where swivel hardware allows each shade to be angled in various directions. Approx. frame measurements: 22"H x 16"W plus shades. Shades: 6"H x 10"W. The shades show free form gold lines and a wider black swirl design. Artistically designed. The swirls give the illusion of movement as if causing the UNUSUAL SHAPE of the shades. This is a super nice lamp in the form of a Turtle. It's base is nicely detailed metal with a brass like finish. The lamp has a handy thumb on/off switch. 2 BEAUTIFUL glass oil table lamps cranberry shades / opaque base/ kerosene light
You are bidding on a pair of glass oil table lamps. The lamps have a white opaque base. The color of the base is best seen in photo# 3. It is not as white as in photo# 1& 2. It has a bit of a hobnail design. There are some areas where there is some darker white in the glass but there are no chips or cracks in the area or any where on the glass. I tried to show this in photo# 3. It does not take away from the beauty of the light. The measurement from the base to the top of the wick is 9 inches. The base is 4 3/4 inches in diameter. There is a gold colored sticker on one of the bases reading made in Hong Kong. The shades are what I would describe as a cranberry color. They have a very pretty Victorian style design. The shade is 5 3/4 inches high x 7 3/4 inches in diameter. There are no chips or cracks. The total heigth of the lamp with ... morethe shade on is about 15 inches. Please note the glass chimneys do not match. One is clear and the other is a smokey color. They are also different shapes and heigths. One must of broke and someone just used what they had to replace it. No chips or cracks on the shades. These would be beautiful in any setting. The lamps may have never been used. The light has very good paint and works OK. The right hand Vemco 4100/30 drafting machine is in very good condtion. A few chips in the paint. It is a 30" machine which is an appropiate size for this board. I am not including any scales, they are availabe on Ebay. The stool has alot of paint worn off on the steel legs. It is the Fred Flintstone stool. Used to have a pad on top. The stool is the right height for most people who would use this table. The bottom of the drafting table is oak and is complete. I had to take parts from another table to complete the hardware on this one. There is one crack which was repaired on one of the leg braces as you can see in the pictures. Glue squeezed out from the crack wh ich is the line you see. The table tilts and can be raised or lowered. To ship this would mean crating it and unfortunately there is no inexpensive way to do this. This listing is for a double arm student lamp without shades. Lamp has one copper arm resoldered see pic. 7. Sold as is, maybe for parts? It must have been a very nice lamp. Has 3 way switches with fancy keys, one fitter holding wire was also resoldered, lamp is in good working condition, wiring is also good. As is shown in picture#1 this lamp is 22" high to the finial. 12" high to the 7" wide fitters, 18" wide from fitter to fitter, with a 6" weighted base. I see no nicks. This is an older GE meter. The tag inside states that it operates on 115/120 volts. Is two wire and is designed to carry only 5 amps( Meter Number 17-182-264) In the day this would have been on a house that probably only had a 30 amp electrical box with screw in fuses. It works just as designed so the meter disc turns when the light is turned on just as it would have when measureing the electricity used. I have painted the wood with a professional grade of paint and have polished the brass surfaces and coated them with lacquer to preserve the finish. In addition, since I thought this would be used in a family room or bar area, I have installed a nice piece of good grade green felt for those dice or quarters. The felt came from Las Vegas. I purchased this from a retail store that sold surplus items from the casinos. Although this is only a ... moresmall piece of the large cloth, it is unique in that the cloth was from a Black Jack table that was re-felted to reflect a new playing rule.
