Last Chance this Year! Vintage/Retro Danish Modern Table Lamp! This is a really fine Mid Century Modern Lamp with the original ribbed glass shades. It stands 40 1/2 inches tall and is 30 3/4 inches wide at its widest point. All three lights work fine and the shades are perfect! It is made of teak and brass. The brass looks great and as shown in last picture there is one scratch on a teak leaf near the bottom brass fitting. There are two small holes drilled on top of the base. Not sure what they are for. Original Brass Marine Passage Light Japan Nautical Table Lamp Up for sale is an original brass marine or nautlcal passage light that I converted to a table lamp. The brass fitting originally had many layers of battleship grey paint which I removed. I was surprised to see that the fitting was made in Japan(now obscured by the wood base) The unmarked clear glass"globe" has two sets of rings and screws into the brass housing. I don't have a boat. So I converted it to a table lamp measuring about 9" tall and 5 1/4" at the widest part of the wood base. I added a bicycle sprocket cogs, wood base and cord with an in-line switch for easy on/off. 45" tall. Wood bowl is about 13 1/2" across. Wood bowl/ base has wear to the original factory gold paint. Metal leaves are factory painted gold and also show some wear/ age. There are 35 leaves. Each has a 2 1/4" tall crystal glass prism hanging from the factory drilled holes on the tips(ends) The wiring looks good. But the socket needs replaced(there is no on or off switch- you have to plug it in to work,unplug it to turn it off) Metal harp is removable. No shade. Very classy and shinny! Needs some TLC. A fabulous piece to add to your decor. This vintage table lamp is about 10.5" tall to the top of the bulb socket. It has the original cord and metal spacers between the faceted glass pieces. The base is about 3.5" by 3.5" by 2" tall and is similar in shape to an emerald cut. The base is notched to hold the cord. The upper glass pieces are each about 2" tall and similar in cut to a table cut diamond. In good used condition with patina to the metal spacers and NO cracks to the glass. Antique Milk Glass Hand Painted Slant Shade from ca 1880's Oil Kerosene or Gas Lamp Description: Flared lamp shade is pressed 1/8 inch thick milk glass with a double ring design near upper rim. Large opening is smooth and heat treated. Smaller opening end is rough. There are no cracks or repairs but there are a two flake chips on the smaller top opening. There are a few tiny nibbles on the smaller opening from the manufacturing process. Hand painted decoration has red/ pink flowers with green leaves. There is no missing paint. Measures 6 inches tall with a 9-3/4 larger opening and a 3-1/8 inch diameter smaller opening. This lampshade is likely considered a 10 inch fitter globe. He was made in Macau by Happiness Express Inc. 120 Volts ac. 60 hz) There is a rattle inside when you move him around, I'm not sure what that is but I can tell you that I tested him out and he still lights up just fine. This guy has been around for a few years(vintage) so he does show discoloration- his whites are yellowish. Please note that this does NOT show up in the pictures even though I tried to take with no flash. For some reason, the pictures still come out showing his tummy and white areas as white though they are actually a discolored yellow. RADIO STUDIO TABLE 'MIC LIVE' LIGHT
Thank you for viewing my item description. The light unit is from one of the radio studios of the BBC World Service in Bush House in The Aldwych. Used up to September 2012, when the service relocated to New Broadcasting House. It stood on the studio table and is a turned conical wood mounting of teak or mahogany made by the BBC. It measures 15cm at the base and is 11cm high. Below the screw-on red bezel is a 240v. 15w pygmy lamp which is operational. The second picture is of the underside of the unit showing the wiring. A blanking plate will be fitted to the base. The cable from the unit measures about three meters with a 13A plug fitted. The item is tested and safe. Vintage1980 Adolph Coors Light Beer hanging- bar/pocker table/ pool table lights
This is a Rare Vintage 1980 Coors Light Beer pool table light. It is hard to find the light beer lights. It has been hanging in a pool room for decades. But in very good used condition. There are normal signs of wear with some scratching and scuffing, not much though considering it's age. The hanging chain is rusty, which can be easily replaced if you choose to. Also the metal ends of wood arm are rusty. It has a crack in heavy plastic on the H in one shade, which is pictured in#10 photo. All in all in very good working order and a beautiful piece that would be a great add to any mancave, bar, pool room, poker room. This is a stunning very large oversized 19th century brass oil lamp. Converted to electric, student lamp. it is a stunning design and very heavy. the base holds a long brass shaft topped with a gorgeous solid brass finial. the lamp has a dual arm the adjusts at the large knob by the shaft and can be adjusted to the bottom of the finial to the top of the base. one side of the lamp has a large oil container that does remove and has a very ornate filigree trip wrapping the top. the other side has a long white shaft which holds the dual swirled sockets.they each have great pull on/off chains. above the sockets is an adjustable brass finial. the piece measures 38 1/2 inches tall at its highest adjustment and 25 inches at its lowest.
