This is a CO2 laser tube in nearly new condition. The laser tube needs a 12V 27MHz RF signal at 7W of power to drive the FET's gate. And 28V at up to 5A to run. It outputs about 12W of power at 10.6um. One neat feature is that the tube can be powered by a CB linear amplifier, allowing you to key the mike and hear what you say in the mike being burned into the target. ITEM: Historical Background: From April 10. 1941 Croatia operated as an independent state allied with the Axis powers. Croatia issued its own postage stamps until the end of WWII when it was eventually incorporated back into Jugoslavia. This lot offers a souvenir sheet with a single stamp issued to commemorate the 3rd Philatelic Exhibition held in Zagreb and the stamp depicts an old church in Zagreb circa 1650. This particular sheet contains the engraver's mark variety which appears as an"S" in the sign to the left of the main door as per the second scan. Only a small proportion of all sheets contain this variety. I'm selling my 80w laser cutter. It was imported and branded by Hurricane Lasers. It's the same as Full Spectrum. G. Weike, and VIP lasers. If you don't know, 99% of all lasers are made with the same guts and rebranded in the USA. From here, the prices range drastically. This is a nice unit. Very reliable. The cutting surface is 500mm X 400mm. It has a Z Axis with Auto Focus. I haven't used it a lot. I just put a new 80w RECI tube in it. These are up to $1500! I also have another new spare tube that has a blemish. But works fine. So, the buyer won't have to worry about this expense for a very long time. There are several 11/64-inch cutters, diamond drag engravers and other bits and bobs needed in the course of engraving, along with power and data cables. The grippy mat is used but still in good shape, and there are two shop-made clamps and several T-nuts for the table. Frank Gasparro Signed Index Card Chief Engraver of the United States Mint Design
Frank Gasparro(August 26. 1909– September 29, 2001) was the tenth Chief Engraver of the United States Mint, holding this position from February 23, 1965 to January 16, 1981. Before that, he was Assistant Engraver. He designed both sides of the Susan B. Anthony dollar, both sides of the Eisenhower Dollar(with the exception of the Bicentennial issue of 1976) the Lincoln Memorial reverse of the cent(minted from 1959 to 2008) and the reverse of the Kennedy half dollar. He was hired by the United States Mint in December 1942 under Chief Engraver John R. Sinnock. Gasparro's first major successful coin design was his redesign of the reverse of the Lincoln cent as part of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. While he was Assistant Engraver at the Philadelphia Mint. Gasparro's design was selected from a group of 23 designs ... moreprepared by the Mint's engraving staff to replace the Wheat cent produced by the Mint from 1909 to 1958. His original design included the words"Lincoln Memorial" and 13 stars around the rim of the coin, which he removed at the request of staff at the Mint. In Richmond, Virginia. Archer& Daly printed Confederate 5-cent stamps from plates provided by the De La Rue, Ltd. London, before creating their own engraved designs. This is a used Metaza MPX-60 that I bought last year and have only used a few times. The machine comes with a power cord. A cord to attach it to your computer, a leveling glass and the manual. It didn't have any software when I bought it, but I downloaded the software and the drivers from Roland's website so you should be able to do the same. I have it hooked to a computer running Windows XP and it works flawlessly. The software is easy to use and requires no special training. I'm including a video clip that I took this morning which shows the machine engraving a tag. In the video you'll see a light colored surface under the tag- that's just a piece of paper that I use to help align the tags. WHY buy some used beat up machine ... morethat has seen heavy use like in a trophy shop or some machine with old out dated software when you can buy this one! I am the 2nd owner of this well maintained machine that has been for hobby use and light production run for diamond drag of aluminum GI dog tags. Previous owner used it for marking hand made knives before he went laser. As you can see from the photos that this has NOT been beat up and abused! A lot of these that have seen heavy use will have the plastic coating on the control box buttons peeling off or mashed in or the lettering is missing and broken or missing knobs! I can not express the amount of regular maintenance that this machine goes thru every time I use it. It gets cleaned every time I am done using it!
