A beautiful landscape etching by Dupont. It is of Vezelay. France. The picture is in good antique condition with the exception of a few foxing marks above the river. A 5 line graver number 22. Can't make out the name but it starts with"SAN- together with 3 tools marked"Renard France" and one user-made bent graver. The top tool in the photo is pretty badly affected by old rusty patina. It can be re ground back to good steel. But keep that in mind. General info: These tools are used. Roland MPX-90 Metal printer engraver
Up for sale is a Roland MPX-90 in perfect working order. I bought this used about a year ago but didn't get to use it much since I already had another one and couldn't really find the place for this. The print heads on these are consumable but this one seems to have plenty of life left. The etchings and engravings it does are fine and deep. I will be including the user's manual. Software, flatbed attachment, vise attachment, extra head caps, and some 20-30 sample pieces to practice on. I kept the screws and brackets that held the gantry in place, which I will be reattaching before shipping. Very Rare 1911 ORIGINAL EARL A. LUPFER Autograph & Engraver's Stamp, Calligraphy
From his personal collection of his own work by Earl A. Lupfer. Principal of The Zanerian College of Penmanship, Columbus, Ohio, comes this rare, original- not a print or reproduction- collectible of Mr. Lupfer's legendary name-card penmanship. This 4 1/4" x 1 7/8" highly-collectible. Unique autograph by E. A. Lupfer is the actual artwork he crafted for publication in the Zaner-Bloser penmanship magazine,The Business Educator, produced when he was just beginning to develop his professional signature. This is not yet the final version of his famous signature. Here the first initial"E" joins the bottom of the second shade by a short connecting stroke- later it curved under and around the front of"A" To join the shaded stroke of that letter at the top rather than at the bottom, as here. Also, the first oval ... morehas been overlaid with a correction pasted down, the top of the"E" Capitals"A" and"L" are on a third piece of paper pasted on top of the first draft; and at the end of the name a fourth piece of paper has been pasted over the third one. The top of the"L" has a separate piece added on top of it as well. This technique was used extensively by Mr. Lupfer in the first few years of his career. And although the final version was published with the description"Offhand flourishing" this may be a misleading term as applied to many of Mr. Lupfer's early pieces published about 1914 which were actually meticulously crafted, the result of a selection of pieces cut from several drafts of the same design. the pasted-up assemblage being invisible in the reproduction. Early specimens such as this are the result of painstaking care taken by Mr. Lupfer to present only a perfect model for his readers. Later. This is a 100 watt ULS laser cutter and engraver with a 32" x 18" cutting bed that allows for parts up to 9" tall. It has a 100 watt Coherent laser tube with less than 100 hours on it since being professionally recharged. It has air and gas assist. A downdraft vector cutting table(which I built) and a brand new full size honeycomb for the table from the manufacturer to replace the used partial honeycomb pictured.
