This Chandler and Price printing press has Serial Number C56642 which dates it to 1917. This press needs some work and cleanup but can be made operational. There is some surface rust but nothing too serious. What is shown in the photos is what goes with the press. There are three roller cores but no motor or chase. Very Nice Antique Hoole Machine& Engraving Works Bookbinder Hand Press Tool I found this very old Hoole bookbinding hand press tool at an estate sale. It's in amazing condition for it's age. I didn't know what it was until I researched it and found Hoole Machine& Engraving Works were the most prolific bookbinding toolmakers of their day. They were established in 1932 and stayed in business until 1911 in Brooklyn N.Y. This is Hoole hand stamp No.1407. I found this information out on a website of the Davistown Museum. They have a chart showing the different hand stamps that Hoole made. I believe the metal is bronze as it's non-ferrous and doesn't attract to a magnet. Here's a Nice Antique Tabletop Cast Iron Printing Press. The unit weighs about 13 pounds and measures approximately 15" long and 9 and 1/4" tall. It's in Very Good Condition for the age and use; I do believe it retains most of the original thick enamel finish. With gold embellishments on each side. It's dirty, there are losses and chipping to the paint, surface rust, paint drips and other normal wear- look at the pictures and see that it displays very well despite all that I mentioned. I do not see a manufacturer's name anywhere on the press. I don't know anything about this type of machine, but there is nothing obviously missing or broken- however, if you're unsure on something please make sure to ask questions. When you move the handle, the roller moves and the circular plate rotates. It seems to work a ... morebit clumsily so I'm sure it would require a thorough lube job and possibly more to work properly. Sigwalt Chicago #9 table top letterpress printing press antique platen Kelsey
Hi. Selling a little table top letterpress printing press. No markings, its either a sigwalt or Chicago#9. Chase inside dimensions are 3-13/16 x 2-1/2. Is made to use with 2 rollers, but this does not have rollers with it. About a year ago I stripped it down, sandblasted it, and painted it black. Looks nice! I replaced the lever nut/ bolt with new stainless hardware. I made the chase out of 1/4" stainless. not original, but works great. I also drilled and tapped for(2) 1/4-20 bolts in the bottom of the chase which eliminates the need for quoins when using a block. platen is nice and even. Adjustment screws work properly. Needs gripper spring. ink disk works and spins as it should. Nice little press. I use it regularly, I just want something bigger. Use as is and ink with a brayer as I do, or buy rollers/trucks. Antique cast iron Tabletop Letterpress Printing Press pin striping flower design
I have other antiques listed and more on the way. This is a RARE hard to find piece of printing history still in working condition but you would need a roller if you wanted to use it. It has great pinstriping and an awesome flower design there just aren't many of these left. The levers and moving parts move great as they should. It looks great as is but is a bit dirty it will clean up and look even better if you want to. This is small so you can display it anywhere making it great for a decoration in a home or office. It comes just as you see it so look at the pics. I am not a printing press expert but as you can see it is a great piece.

This auction is for a super rare cast iron A Daisy Victor Printing Press and Outfit set with the original tongue and groove box and label. Accessories and printing blocks. It was manufactured by W.H. Antique Multilith Model 1200 Printing Press
Up for sale is an antique Multilith Model 1200. We were using this press until about ten years ago when we put it in storage. This one is rather unusual in that it is equipped with a jogger. It is all there including the Davidson feeder. Included in the price is an original Parts Catalog and a Davidson feeder Parts Catalog. The 1200 was one of the first small offset presses sold. I also have a unique booklet published by Addressograph on the Multilith showing how to make a plate and how to photograph copy. Early GOLDING OFFICIAL Tabletop Letterpress Looks to be a Model 2. Great for YOUR Collection. Great way to get into Tabletop Printing. Up for offer is a Original Golding Official Letterpress. Looks to be a Model 2 although I cannot verify that. Marked GOLDING MFG. CO. as well as FRANKLIN. MASS. USA on one side and OFFICIAL on other side. Press is missing the ink disk and the chase as can be seen in photos. Also missing the small finger that rotates the ink disk. No ink rollers. Ink rollers should be readily available on ebay. This could easily be operated without the ink disk as the form could be inked with a hand brayer until a disk can be obtained. Has normal wear from use and storage including scratches. Scuffs, marring and some light spots of surface corrosion is several spots. I have cleaned it and oiled it to the best of my ability ... moreand it LOOKS GREAT. No breaks or repairs. Looks to have what might be original paint. The press opens and closes very nicely and operates very smoothly. Paper platen is offset slightly to the left of the chase area(pic 4) I believe this is as it was set up from the factory. Has gripper arms as shown. J hooks are nice and move freely in guides. J hook springs look to be original and function well. Paper platen measures approx. 4 1/2" x 6 7/8" Weight is approx. 41 pounds. Measures approx. 25" tall from bottom of base to top of arm when arm is upright. Hole for ink disk shaft looks to be 5/8" diameter.Auction includes only what is shown in photos. It is a old around 1870, Looks like some of the paint was touched up at one time unfortunate but it is what it is, very ornate I have only seen a few like this. It is bolted to the box looks like box was set up by a old printer not Hamilton looks to be the right time period. Rollers look original, a little dry rotted[a lot dry rotted] as they should be. yes it smells old. I would not clean it. This press is retired not for printing. It will make a nice office display. Press is 12 inch tall x 12 inch with handle up x 7 inch wide chase 2.75 x 4 inch ink disk 4.25 inch box is 19 wide x 11 tall x 12 deep in inch I will ship anywhere in the world. Up for bids is this very nice antique limestone lithograph stone. It was found in the home of an artist in Cincinnati. Ohio who was well known in the 1920's and 30's. She did a lot of art for advertisements of that time. This stone has a great advertisement for Boss Stoves. The stone measures 14" X 18" X 2.75" thick. It is in very nice condition. Vintage Chandler and Price printing press. I don't know much about this piece. It has been in storage for many years. It belongs to a family member and I am trying to sell it for him. From what I am told the piece is good shape for as old as it is. It moves freely with no binding. It has 4 patented dates on the side dating May 26.1886/ Apl 12,1887/ March12 1889& Jan,1890 which is rare.There is also a stamped date on the handle May 26 1886. The measurements are 28" in width, 42" in height and 44" in lenght. It would make a nice addition to any collection or antique for display.
