Pressure Washer Unloader Flow Sensitive ZK7.2 For Parts K7.2 4.2 to 6.6 GPM
This unloader never did work right for me because I have a 4 gpm@3000 machine. And it was made for a machine from 4.22 GPM up to 6.6 GPM. I'm pretty sure it is a K7.2 but do your research. The kit for this is available for 27 bucks at Envirospec.com The k70 rebuild kit is the same for all flow volumes of K7s so it will still be a 7.2 even with the new kit in it. Unless you change the jet in it to a K7.1 which is for the more common 4gpm, which I believe is available at the same place. The same unloader works perfectly on a 5gpm machine. So I just went and shelled out a hundred plus bucks for a K7.1 and it's nice for the machine to idle all the way down when you let off of the trigger not to mention that it kicks back in once the trigger is pulled. Low stress to listen to it idle knowing it isn't heating the bypass water like a regular unloader. If you need it for parts or know how to put a kit in it and rethread it then you might save some money. But just threading it probably wont be enough to put it back right. For Parts or Repair. Inlet nut is cracked. This is a Giant brand unloader valve model number 22912A Red spring. 2500 psi. Maximum flow 13 GPM. Minimum pressure 375 psi, Inlet port 1/2 inch FNPT, Outlet port 1/2 inch FNPT and 1/2 inch bypass Cost new is over $100 plus shipping. Compatible models are 22910A Silver spring. 22911A Yellow spring, 22912A Red spring, 22913A Orange spring. The only difference is the springs which determine the maximum pressure.
