For sale is a slightly used dive computer. Including the protective case, which has been used on 2 different dive trips, and about 45 dives. It still works great. But as I am over 6 feet tall and I have a very long armspan, when my hands are straight out in front of me they are almost 5 feet from the transmittor on the tank and the signal tends to be lost. For anyone shorter, shorter arms, or who keeps their arms closer to their body during their dive, signal loss should not be a problem. We are also expecting our first child so wont be diving again anytime soon! I am selling as is. And the battery is dead and the lens cover was scratched badly so I threw it away- but its never been used without it and the lens itself is unscratched. We are delighted to share this great find. This is an antique metallic thermometer that has been mounted into a glass fronted frame. The thermometer has the name on the front ~ Auburndale Watch Co. Auburndale. MA There are no model numbers on this. Through research I discovered that this company was a watch manufacture originally. They were not having much success and developed this thermometer as a way to utilize the machinery they had in place. This dates to the last quarter of the 19th Century. The face front appears to be in pretty good conditon. The dial is intact and does work. There is some light soiling and discoloration to the face. The tin back is screwed into a board on the back of the frame. I do not know if this frame came with this originally as I was unable to even locate a picture of one of these. This in a gold gilded frame. ... moreAll four corners on the front side have a design incised into the wood. There are losses to the paint and it appears that someone may have had the intentions of stripping the frame at some point. There is also a small gap in the upper right corner of the frame. But it doesn't feel loose. The frame measures approximately 9.5" x 9.5" and rises off the wall approximately 1.75" The glass is in need of a good cleaning both inside and out. Here we have a classic 70s Seiko 7006-7028 all stainless steel automatic alarm watch. The dial is absolutely mint. As is the movement with nary a tool mark to be seen. These are getting hard to find in original condtion as many have been restored, touched up or had their movements butchered by gorillas. This one needs a new crystal(the one in place has a small crack) and the band is not original and it could do with a case-detailing if a mint presentation is desired. The case is in good unrestored condition meaning there are everyday marks. Scratches and scuffs from normal use but no significant dings, and no corrosion, deformation or other damage. This watch is very old and very nice looking. The case is extremely intricate and shiny. The dial seems to be flawless. Which is amazing for the age. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is that I've got too many watches in the collection at the moment and need to make some room. It has been serviced within the last year and is keeping good time. I'd love to keep it but it has to go. I hope the pictures tell the story adequately. This watch is in exactly the same shape as when I purchased it since it just sat in my display case. Have never had any problems with it or it's operation. The only noticeable thing is that the front cover doesn't exactly"spring" open when you press the stem in. It opens up part of the way and you usually have to open it the rest of the way with your finger. There's no resistance ... moreor anything though. And I'm sure a competent watchmaker or jeweler could get the cover opening properly again. The case itself is 14k Gold filled and is a real beauty. I'm unsure if it's original to the watch. If I understand correctly these watch cases can't be dated since the serial numbers of the cases themselves are lost to history. If you have any further questions please let me know, I'll be glad to answer. The two back covers have the case maker's marks on the inside. First is"Keystone Watch Case" above a crown and a set of scales. Then below that is a serial number. The dust flap of the case says"Guaranteed JBoss14k 20 Years" and then is followed by the same serial number.
