This is a gently used drum stick coffin case. I've had this for a few years. And never really used it for shows. It mainly just sat in my drum case. It has the black velvet lining interior, with the pop up easel, 2 velcro pouches and 2 zippered mesh pockets. The exterior is in good shape, a few marks on the bottom and some along the metal edging. It has locks, and I have the keys for them, but the locks don't seem to be in working condition. The case measures approximately 19 1/4" long, and 9 1/4" across. It's 3 1/2" deep. Antique Japanese Zori Thong Sandals- wood construction covered by a gorgeous black brocade material with shiny gold. Red, green, blue pattern. Have double thongs- one brocade with a second thong that is red velvet. They have a heavy black sole that is nailed on enforced with small thick staple like fasteners. Measures 10 inches long by 3-1/4 inches wide with a 5/8 inch height at the toe and a 1-1/4 inch lift at the heel. Although these are old- purchased in Japan by my late aunt in late 1940's or early 1950's- they were never worn. They were stored wrapped in paper in a shoe box for all these years. Absolutely perfect- absolutely gorgeous. Great addition to Oriental shoe collection, or decorative item in Japanese restaurant, artistic compliment to Oriental decor. A rare find!

This gorgeous antique art deco black velvet compact/bag came from an estate in the Berkshires. The owner was a world traveler. It is in beautiful condition with only the mirror showing some age around the edge. The inside is in immaculate condition. The closure works perfectly. It really is a unique piece. It has the look of an Evans compact but I do not see it marked anywhere. It is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the apple closure is 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Coat is in very good condition although one section of the gold trim is missing as shown and there is a small hole and a few minor stains inside. This is a millinery velvet which measures 19" wide from selvage to selvage. by 1 yard long. This velvet is an amazing find. It came from an estate with many rare textiles. The inside is red velvet which shows marking in the velvet where the chips and cup are. No tears in the red velvet. The lock opening still works. It shows a keyhole but there never was a key. It is of the utmost quality with a wonderful drape and substantial body(not flimsy thin) It is in great condition with no flaws that I detect. I cannot even stress how much more beautiful this textile is in person. It has such a rich appearance and the underside is very unique. A burn test indicates silk/cotton fiber content.
