2 metal/ lead printing plates on wood block- Dansville,NY-porch and house
This is a lot of 2 metal/zinc printing plates on wood blocks from the 1930's. The one of the porch measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" Appears in very good condition and is a thin piece of metal on wood block. The one of the house measures 1 7/8" x 2" and is zinc on wood block and has a little corrosion. This is from a box of copper/zinc printing blocks purchased in the late 1970's at an auction or estate sale. The blocks that I've been able to date are primarily in the 1920-1930's period and most are from the Dansville NY area. Thank you for looking at this item.
