Flexographic Printing Press with anilox ink rollers
This Flexographic Printer will print one side of a shopping bag. Notion bag or other types of bags. Bags placed on the feeder deck one at a time between the guide rails are taken to the print heads by rubber push lugs and infeed rollers. The bag is pushed between the print plate cylinder and the back-up impression cylinder where printing occurs. The bag is then picked up by the outfeed rolls and ejected. The printing system is flexographic. Using 1/4" thick rubber plates in conjunction with a double hard chromed, suitably engraved anilox ink metering roller and a synthetic flexographic ink compatible cured rubber covered ink fountain roll. Printing plates of 1/8" thick material may be used by raising the back-up roller. This machine has a 38" circumference printing plate cylinder. Which can provide a 27" long by 24" ... morewide printing area. It can feed and print bags from 5" wide by 7" long up to 30" wide by 36" long including handles. The press comes with a spare anilox roller and original owner’s manual and schematics of parts and operation. There is a fellow in Florida who provides parts and maintenance. Ink. Plates and other consumables are readily available from multiple suppliers. The press comes with an eleven foot conveyor to catch the bags as they come out of the press and before re-boxing them. Here is a very hard to find item. It is a narrow 12" wide Algene Flexographic Printer. This printer uses Flexo printing plates to be able to print a wide array of items. Including craft, crafting, art, or commercial manufactured and printed items. It has a kick feeder system with side guides to be able to automatically feed a pile of sheets of paper or paperboard. The use of a proper designed plate will also allow area gluing, spot, or pattern gluing. This Printer is great for Lab use or for testing inks, adhesives, or patterns. The Printer uses a three roll ink or adhesive transfer design to the main printing drum for accurate metering. The Printer is all aluminum heavy-duty construction with industrial ball bearings. It has a variable speed drive. It does have a counter system for counting printed pieces but the counter looks like ... moreit needs to be replaced because the display is cracked(But this does not affect the operation of the printer) The Printer has a nice stainless steel ink or glue pan whick is very easy to remove and easy to clean. While it has some scrapes and scratches; It will look much nicer once we remove the tape/sticker residue. It's much nicer in person. It appears to have all of its plexiglass protective parts. As well as the rest of its parts, but I simply am NOT 100% ... morepositive. You will need to zoom into each photo. The PLC controls all look good. And the cables all look good. When we received the unit. It was working up until it was unplugged. It may need a bit of cleaning. And maintenance. There are some ink stains inside. But nothing that can't be cleaned. I truly think you will receive this for a great price. We simply know little about it. It looks complete. The control panel appears to be functional. But the button covers seem to be broken off. Not a big deal as you can replace these or use it as it is. We simply don't want to hassle with a refund. It's been in our dry climate controlled warehouse for ages and we're cleaning house. COSMETICS: The unit looks much better in person. As it has sticker/tape residue on it. We'll clean it up much better before it ships out, but please remember that it IS used, so it's not going to be in"mint" condition. You will receive EXACTLY What you see in the photos.
