Vintage Hand Painted signed TOLE Ware Paper Towel Foil Dispenser ~ Listed Artist
Description: Up for auction is a wonderful piece of painted tole ware from a listed artist in the form of a kitchen dispenser for aluminum foil. Wax paper, and paper towels that is still useful today. It measures about 12” wide x 11” tall and a little over 5” deep at the paper towel bin. It is painted black with gold colored trim and is covered all over with fruit. Apples. Pears, melons, grapes and strawberries in bright colors. It has the minimal wear or rubs that you’d expect to see on a working kitchen piece of this age as you can tell from my pictures. Please look at all the pictures to judge color and condition for yourself. This fine piece was painted by Edith Haynes Burchards who lived and worked in Vermont from 1901– 1994. She is well known for her painted metal tole ware that she created at her family dairy farm in West Dover. VT. ... moreShe was very proud of her work and it is clearly signed on the back side. This is a hard to find vintage commercial Georgia Pacific crank paper towel dispenser that I got from an estate sale! In white enamel with chrome side towel crank and front lock. It comes with 3 original keys. It is empty and measures 10 1/2" wide. 8" high, and 9" deep. Th outer finish is in nice condition, except for around the crank area has rust and finish damage. Inside has some rust as shown in the photo. Marked 114115 on the instruction label inside. The paper towel wooden bar measures 10 inches across. 2 Older BOBRICK 45CN Paper Towel Dispensers Both of these stainless steel dispensers are dent free. They do have some minor paint splatters on them- easily removeable. The dispensers lock shut and open with the same key- which is included and will be taped to the back of one of the dispersers. These dispensers were in the restrooms of an old senior citizens meeting place- hence are in good shape. They both have the same dimensions of: 14 3/4" tall X 10 7/8" wide X 4" deep. Old Style, Vintage Paper Towel Dispenser, Retro Bathroom
Anyone who has used a public restroom in the USA back in the day has seen one of these. This would be a nice camp touch mounted in someones upscale home bathroom. Or back in the shop. The condition is really good on this one and it cleaned up real well, but it's not perfect. The most noticeable imperfection is on the left side where there is a circular(manufacturing flaw? dent. There are some other scratches, mars, and scuffs, but nothing that makes it look shabby to my eyes. My photo gear is not the best so please take it as a matter of course that there will be small scuffs and scratches that don't show up in the pictures. Comes with the key for the lock.

Vintage Steiner Original Chrome Metal Rolling Continuous Towel Dispenser Gas Station Restroom Machine Shop. This is the type where it is a continuous roll of a cloth towel. Awesome and taken care of when it was found. Measures 17.5” high x 14.5” wide x 9.5” deep. Let’s go through the flaws(as pictured) Some surface rust. But nothing eating through and mostly all inside as expected as the towel was wet when in use. Some of the chrome is coming off on one of the sides and near the front opening. The key is broken off in the lock but it is currently in the open position and I have opened and closed it with a flathead screwdriver. And then you’ll have the dents. The item is in excellent working condition for its age. Made completely of metal. It is structurally in excellent condition free of any major paint flaws, denting or major imperfections. Minor dirt& staining may be present from age but this does not take away from the piece at all. The piece opens as closes as good as new, via the key which is included. The front of the dispenser carries the"CZ" logo as well as their crown icon/ emblem. The back features a hole for mounting the piece on the wall. Altogether this piece is in near pristine condition.
