This was a spare motor, previously owned by a local sawmill. We took this motor to a local motor repair shop and had it tested. The motor ran out fine with no excess noise that would indicate bearing problems and a smooth current draw of approximately 41 amp per lead. This was a"free running" no load test. The motor shop polished the shaft a little when they tested it, but the shaft still has some mild surface rust on it from sitting unused in a non-climate controlled environment.
