Fantastic surgical light from the well known Castle Light company which produced this model from the 20's until the mid 50's. It is completely original except for the new heavy duty grounded plug and a new light bulb. This was from a US Navy vessel that was built in the late 50's and was decommissioned in the late 90's. The outer shell of the lamp is brass that had been chromed and has since worn off to reveal a great patina. The support hoop and mounting hardware are stainless steel. The paint from the ship is still on the base. I will let the next owner decide if they want the old paint on it or not.
