DAVIS AND WELLS SHAPER FENCE - DELTA POWERMATIC OLIVER YATES JOINTER PLANER
One pair of Davis and Wells shaper fences. The fences are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There are a few casting imperfections that appear as dark spots on the photos but they are due to the factory casting and finishing process not wear or damage to the fences. Each individual fence measures 9-7/8" L x 2-1/8" W x 3-1/4" H. The distance between each slot is 3-13/16" center to center with each slot being 1-3/4" L and 7/16" W.

Super nice. Heavy duty, Powermatic model 100, PM100) 12 inch planer that is ready to tackle the toughest job. This was completely disassembled. Cleaned, lubed, new bearings and new belts installed. Has not been used since. 3 horsepower Baldor motor with starter. 220 volt 1 phase I have no problem crating this and I will deliver to the shipper's dock to keep costs down. The motor was in good working condition before being recently removed after the planer was purchased by my Amish neighbor. The local Amish do not believe in using electricity. So they remove the electric motors from their equipment& operate them with the use of a gas-powered pulley system. This was a motor that was removed from the planer which they had purchased from a school system's art class. It had been used very little. Powermatic Delta planer jointer knife setting gage gauge EX!
Auction is for one knife setting gage. This is the one that I used for a few years on my 16" jointer. I think that it is a Powermatic brand gage as its green color matches our older Powermatic planer and it is in excellent used condition. With this gage and properly sharpened knives I can set the knifes on our 4-knife cutter head to within 1/1000" in less than 30 minutes(the key is properly sharpened knives) The dial indicator is a precision Yuasa brand and is in perfect condition. The indicator has a threaded end and may be adjusted up or down in the base with ease. Anyway. If you have a jointer and want to set knives to thousands of an inch accuracy then this one is for you.
