Up for auction is a classic tubular road wheel. Circa 1991 vintage. This was a backup race wheel when I was in my early 20s. It's seen quite a few miles but is still in good shape. Shimano Ultegra hub, DT Swiss 14g spokes, Trek Matrix ISO II rim, spokes laced. The tire is a Continental Sprinter. The bearings are smooth but surely need to be repacked. The tire holds air, but it will definitely need to be reguled. Has quite a bit of dry rot too. If you want a classic wheel at a good price, this is one to consider. This is a very nice 80's vintage Bertoni Italian made frameset. Built with Columbus Matrix tubing and Columbus dropouts. The color is a very nice rosy red metallic, and the frame is completely chrome plated under the paint. Any chips or areas with paint loss have no rust underneath due to the chrome plating being undamaged. There are no dents or physical damage to this frame. Decals appear to have a clearcoat over them and are in very good shape. The frame measures 52cm(20.5" from center of BB to top of top tube. It includes fork and headset. BB threads are 36mm x 24 TPI Italian. Please ask if you need any other more specific details.
