Twelve Hard Drive Magnets
These are twelve sets of hard drive magnets that were removed from computer hard drives. The magnets measure one inch high by three quarters of an inch wide by one inch deep. There are two magnet wafers in each backing plate or set. These may be NIB's(Neodymium Iron Boron magnets) but I'm not sure. Kimber Allen 130 ohmn magnets. I tested resistance on all 10 of these. There was a variance of 15-20 ohms in resistance. These are Theatre Organ style magnets. These are also known as top note magnets. The toes of upper octave an treble pipes can be set right in the exterior cone of this magnet. I am not sure the age of these magnets but they have been in storage for many years. Paper gaskets may need to be replaced. Lot of 62 Speaker and Rare Earth Magnets - Very Useful - Good Quality
This is a 62 magnet lot. Some are super strong rare earth magnets. These magnets came from electronics such as speakers. Hard drives, desk phones and drives. The magnets are either steel housed or have steel and a ferrite ring around them. Some are all ferrite. The sizes range from a half inch to 2 and 3/4 inches in diameter. These magnets are very useful almost anywhere. The shop, office, home etc. Some of the magnets may have some scratches but are otherwise good. The scratches are caused when I need to pry the magnet from the steel cone. Most of the scratches occur on the magnet housing and not usually on the magnet. The rare earth magnets are odd shape not round or square. These have a ferrous metal backing. These are so powerful you would not want your fingers in between two of them.
