A very interesting handmade Mexican bracelet and earring set of flattened soldered chains of copper. Brass and I think nickel as it does not test for silver. There is a link for a charm to which someone has added a little dog of a completely different style but I did not have the heart to remove it though that could be easily done. The clasp is well made and in proper working order, marked"Mexico" and it has a hefty slinky feel. The bracelet measures 7 inches long by 7/8 inch across. The earrings have screw backs and each measures 7/8" x 5/8" I have not polished the set but I think it would polish up quite nicely! The piece has it's original hidden clasp. The gold has a soft bloom and patina. The necklace has no hallmarks we could find but has been tested as at least 9k. The connection rings have slightest faceting. This piece is of the highest quality. The piece is in great antique condition. Slightest light scratches and occasional tiniest flaws. We found on of the ends of one of the large link shows a tiny repair. It looks like the connection ring may have separated over time and someone had it put back together.
