Four Channel Light Organ Control
This is a four channel light organ a friend of mine found in his garage. He said his son used to play in a band back in the late 80s. This light organ is home built and I was impressed with the attention to detail. The enclosure is a plastic tackle box and as you can see from the pictures there are four adjustments and four 110VAC outputs. All channels are separate and have their own control board. At first I thought the inputs were 1/4 audio jacks. When I looked closer I realized each input is from a separate microphone unique to each channel. So there is no need to have to hook up the different inputs. Only the outputs. Each channel is switched by a device rated for 200 watts. I would say from experience to not push the limits. Two of the channels were dead when I first checked this out. The triacs in both channels were cracked and I suspect ... moreit was from too high of a load. I replaced both triacs and tested each of the four channels. All of the channels work. Each channel is tuned to a different audio frequency band and the adjustments allow you to set the input sensitivity. This light organ is in working condition as it flashes a light in response to an audio input. After that I will give no other guarantees as to what you use it for. This is a great old Remote. It could be late 1960's or early 70's. Has instructions on the back that explain how to use the buttons. Very funny. Also has a label inside that explains Batteries are not covered by the warranty and will need to be replaced form time to time. The flashing of lights would control the TV. Up for sale and never really used except for testing it about 20 hours is a very professionally Home Made READY TO USE(8) Channel 24v DC Solenoid Driver(up to 2A solenoids) RGB TTL Color DPSS Laser Control, Control Panel with color control ... morebuttons and lever arm micro switches to activate solenoids(solenoids not included) Laser Illusions 2010 DAC(digital to analog converter) for creating laser animation signals to feed into galvo scanners, and multi conductor 20awg cables LOT. Designed to activate solenoids by a +5 volt DC power supply inside the main power supply box. Once +5 volts is sent to the L295(2) Channel IC Switch. It opens the current gate and lets 24v DC from a larger 24v DC power supply pass through the L295 IC Switch and activate the solenoid, which as you can see in the photos are nicely heat sinked and cooled with high velocity input and output fans. I did this design so recorded analog 5 volt signals could be recorded and played back driving the solenoids at whatever the queue might be required. Each channel is current regulated and adjustable by a potentiometer and each channel is also fused to insure the fuse goes before the L295 would blow. I tested it good and left the solenoids on for up to 5 minutes without a fuse blowing) I have the current set to 1/2 an amp or 500 ma right now. The solenoids got HOT but the circuit stood the test! This is the foot control from a Ritter dental unit probably from around the 1920's. The unit appears funtcional although I have no way of testing it, The nickel finish is worn in spots no doubt due to the years of use. The cord looks to be in great shape as well as the rubber removable boot for hard surface floors. The boot comes off to reveal a more textured surface possibly for carpeted flooring. Unit is extremely heavy and measures 7 3/8" around at base and 5 1/2" in overall height. Worth noting my packaging skills far out weight my photography skills. Thanks for looking.

RARE Vtg 40s/50s Eames ERA Mcm MITCHELL BOBRICK Control LIGHT Design Floor LAMP
ANOTHER ONE OF MY VINTAGE ITEMS! DESCRIPTION: Up for sale is a vintage Lamp! It is a very nice& rare, Mid Century Modern'Reflector' floor lamp, M ost probably manufactured i n the late 1940s or early 1950s, it is attributed to Mitchell Bobrick. It was designed for the Controlight Company of California. I believe that this is actually one of the earliest versions. This great lamp is constructed of a black wooden base, with a black metal receptacle that holds the light bulb. There are 2 iron arms that flare outward form the base, that hold a tilt-able fiberglass disc shade, so you can control the light beam. Make sure you check out my vintage items! The lamp's measurements are: about 55 inches in height with the disc shade, and about 26 inches wide at the top. The wooden base is about 12 inches diameter. Also the fiberglass ... moreshade, is about 24 inches in diameter. This rare Mitchell Bobrick reflector floor lamp, is in pretty good vintage condition. Although it would need some restoration(welding) to be in perfect condition. Because the shade has 2 small metal pins, that were supposed to clip into the brass balls. Unfortunately one of the metal pins has broken away from the shade's rim, and it is stuck into one of the brass balls. The other small pin is still attached to the metal rim of the shade, but it is stuck inside the other brass ball. So to take the shade away from the lamp base, you need to turn it with the brass ball. Because these brass balls, are screwed into the 2 metal arms of the base. And the fact that the pin broke away from the shade's rim, it damaged a bit of the fiberglass, because the shade holds with the pin being stuck into the fiberglass. Also I would mention that the brass arms show areas of tarnishing, and the black wooden base has a few small marks(see last 4 pictures) This lamp is being sold as is and has found, I did not want to try and fix it myself. Auction is for the motor. Light, and knee control taken from the cabinet that housed my White No 8 from the early 1920s. All were in working condition when removed, but I cannot guarantee the performance at this time. When the cord is plugged in, the light does work. I was intending to restore the wood cabinet but have decided not to as it was too far gone. These parts remain and may work for someone else's restoration.
