For sale is a very lightly used(only powered on a total of 3 times for less than 30 seconds each time) 2W 445nm blue laser diode module and power board. Includes manufacturer’s Buyer's Guide, manufacturer’s specification sheet, and one pair of 190nm-540nm Blue/Violet/Green laser light eye protection safety glasses. Module is in near perfect. Like new condition. As mentioned above, module was only powered on and tested very briefly, and has no scratches, nicks, wear or other blemishes. Module is 100% functional, and is exactly as shipped/received from manufacturer. Even without making any adjustments. Not even focusing the beam, which I'm sure would make it significantly more efficient, it burned a hole clear through one side of a typical brown corrugated cardboard box in roughly 15 seconds from 20 feet(box starts smoking in about ... more3 seconds) I would definitely wear the safety glasses any time this module is going to be turned on for any amount of time. And would definitely be sure to keep all body parts(or anything else I didn't want to risk damaging) clear of the aperture at all times. As I'm sure it would begin burning skin very quickly. As long as one is being safe, this could be loads of fun and great for conversation starting(and fire starting) and/or impressing your geek friends. Coherent 3 Watt Red IR Laser Diode Glass Collimator Lens Optic Lot 2x High Power
These are extremely high precision glass collimator lenses for use with lasers up to 1 watt of red. Or 3 watts of IR at 808nm. These lenses are about 5mm in diameter and about 3mm FL. They are ideal for the first optic in the collimation system for higher power C-mount laser diodes due to their short focal length allowing you to gather most of the light. Optics suppliers sell these for upwards of 25 dollars each PLUS SHIPPING, which i think is ridiculous for such a small simple part! I have lots of laser and other unique stuff for sale this week.
