These are NOT digital so means you can manually yourself with a small screwdriver adjust the power, gain and amp on these, and has the T-coil to pick up on the telephone. This pair comes with the book. ONE of them works fine far as I can tell from testing it and have had someone wear it a day to be sure, the other one works too but some occasional cutout on the volume wheel at max setting but set it back a hair off max it'll work fine, have an audiologist shop give it the cleanup thing, etc. might fix that with some cleaner but it does work though, just that minor cutout.
