This vintage tool is made by Reiling for preparing carpet backing prior to seaming. The tapered super sharp points pierce through the nap and allow adhesive to penetrate for greater seam strength. This tool is 8 1/2" long. 2" wide and pins are 1/2" long. 20 rows of 6 pins. Roller is in great shape. And rolls smoothly.
