These were in my grandmother's Kennedy collection and we thought a JFK fan might like them to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his assassination that is coming up November of this year. One stamp was canceled and one was not. They are 5 cent stamps. They are a blue stamp with a portrait of John Kennedy and next to him is a picture of the Eternal Flame, circling the stamp is the quote"And the glow from that fire can truly light the world" and 1917 John Fitzgerald Kennedy 1963. They were loose in a jewelry box so not mint condition but minor wear on them. I believe they were printed to commemorate him after the assassination. These are a really cool item for a stamp collection and great for a Kennedy fan. I do combine shipping so check out the other items I have listed. I have no idea about its origins.but it reminds me a lot of the decorative Mexican Tile.from years gone by. The piece is filled with rich colors and design.similar to artwork found in the earlier part of the 1900's. Wish I had a better idea.as to the true age. The tile is about 1/4 of an inch thick and would remind one of a Bathroom Tile. It is white to the backside. The tile is glazed to the top side.and measures about 6 inches across. I worked for a camera/photography business and hence was able through the Nikon sales representative. Purchase this camera. My initials M.R. are engraved on the bottom. This model has the 1/200 th of a second flash sync speed. Later models had a slightly faster 1/250 th sync speed. I am selling it with a Tamron 35-70mm 3.5 zoom lens. The lens comes with a 58mm haze cutter filter to protect the lens front. I will also include a 135mm Nikkor telephoto lens. With 52mm skylight(1A) filter that protects the front lens and cuts down on UV light. No lens cap for this lens. This camera is in good working order. As you can see in these pictures that the camera ... morehas some blemishes. Areas where the paint has rubbed off. It also needs some light cleaning. I purchased a focusing screen type for this camera and it also comes with this package. I have the original manual and various other Nikon literature that will be included.
