These are Beck Kassel LUCHS 7x50 CBS military or hiking binoculars. From my research online the LUCHS MAY have been used by the German Army but I am NOT an expert& gathered info online for a hour or 2. It is 2lbs and 7" long. The info I found was: Christopher Beck in 1892 started a mechanical workshop in his parents house which evolved into a full size company which made high quality optical instruments like binoculars and microscopes. By 1939 Beck had produced 50.000 binoculars. During WW2 the company produced binoculars for the German army(found that out on multiple websites) CBS stood for Christopher Beck and Sons. Since I was not able to verify if these were used by the Army I am starting the bidding low w/ no reserve. None of the lenses have any breaks or cracks. The view is great and is very sturdy with no missing screws and ... moreso can focus well. I've used these at sundown and they work great even in low light. There shows normal wear on the metal but overall the cosmetic condition is not bad for it's age. Lenses are clean I bought these and were so pleased with the view and glass great and they were heavy duty I didn't notice they do not have eye pieces that screw on. It didn't stop me from enjoying the way it worked and looked and a collector probably has eye pieces they can put on so that is another reason the price is so low w/ no reserve. This list is for an Individual Serving Dish Made Expressly for AMERICAN AIRLINES by Hall China supplied by Minners& CO U.S.A. also at the top of the maker mark is 73-D1-32 and at bottom of maker mark is 1672. It measures 6 1/4 across and 4 inches wide and about an inch tall. There are no chips or cracks but there are 2 black specks which is part of the glaze when kiln cooked. This is a nice little piece to add to your airline collection. It will be carefully packaged.
