Up for auction is an early Full Face Diving Mask made by Scott Hydro-Pak of Lancaster N.Y. U.S.A. This early version mask is somewhat similar to the standard Navy issued mask; and as such. Is a part of our diving history. These diving helmet masks have been successfully used for many years by divers working in shallow and uncontaminated waters. They are made of natural. Compression-molded rubber with what appears to be stainless steel frame that holds the glass lens in place. The result is a rugged piece of equipment of low volume which permits the diver to work in very confined quarters. The head-harness with its five straps and brass quick release buckles can be adjusted to make a comfortable and effective seal against the divers face regardless of facial conformation. When so adjusted, it holds the mask firmly in place so as to minimize ... moreany risk of accidental dislodgement. The quick-release buckles, however, allow the mask to be easily and quickly removed. This early piece of underwater diving history is unusual in that it is not marked with raised letters Scott Hydro-Pak. And the mask’s head strap assembly is not included here; although, replacement straps are available from DESCO. The mask is a demand type mask; however. The regulator and exhaust valve are not furnished with the mask. The mask is held to the head by five head straps. The straps are adjusted using quick release buckles. Scott G1008 Fly Rod
This is a Scott 2 piece graphite fly rod model G1008. It is 10’ in length weighs 4.0 oz. and is balanced beautifully with a#8 fly line. I had the rod made by Scott Rod Co. While they were still making rods in San Francisco. It is in immaculate condition with the exception of a minor scuffmark on the real seat ring, which could be remedied with some touchup paint. It is still in the original rod sock and tube.

This auction is for a very nice. Used, Scott 138- the 7c Stanton, grilled stamp from 1870. This rare stamp is in great condition with rich color, nice centering, and a fancy, era-style cork cancel. This stamp does have a light pencil mark on the back identifying it by Scott number. It also has a small hinge thin and a small thin in the upper left corner. The higher denomination, early bank note grills are really in short supply. Please see scan for color, cancel, centering and perf details. The 2012 Scott Catalog value for this lot is $550.00.
