This is a very NICE MSA Double 12 Pedal Steel Guitar. It has 6 knee levers and 10 floor pedals. The E-9th neck tuning is the Emmons setup. The other neck is a C-6th. It has 2 super sustained pickups. One toggle switch for switching necks, and there are no tone or volume knobs on the guitar. The guitar is in like-new condition. Excellent sounding guitar and stays in-tune. For sale is the awesome PRO Model 1970's vintage MSA Semi Classic 3 x1 Pedal Steel Guitar. It is Emmons set up. As you can see the guitar is in real good shape for its' age. The guitar has an all pull changer system with hex nylon tuners. Guitar also has Pro Style KLUSON Deluxe tuners at the keyhead. It has the original single coil MSA pickup. Which sounds amazing. Guitar has round cross shafts and 4 hole bell cranks. This guitar truly sounds great and looks great. I have adjusted all the pedals and the knee lever for ease of playing. I am also throwing in a brand new set of strings. Selling my 1974 MSA classic d-10. 8+4 emmons pedal set up. Knee levers are RKR RAISE E, RKL LOWER E, LKR RAISE F# LKL LOWER D# This steel has been owned by my family since 1981. This thing has monster tone and MSA's are one of the best built steels out there, I will list any issues- case lid top rebuilt. Scratches on c6 fret board, functions fine but if you want to change it out, its pretty easy, volume pot works great wide open, scratchy when turned down(I have always run full volume anyway) clamp on 1 leg is modified, a guy told me these are easy to fix. 1965-1974 VINTAGE MSA SIDEKICK PEDAL STEEL Made in USA WORKS GREAT NEW STRINGS
Fully Functioning! MADE IN THE USA! NO RESERVE. This is a MSA SIDEKICK electric pedal steel guitar. I am not sure what year it was made. But it has Kluson double line tuners. Double lines were manufactured from 1965 to 1974. I have installed a new set of Ernie Ball Custom Gauge 13-38(2502) Ten string E9 tuning nickel wound strings. All the pedels raise the pitch of the appropriate strings and the knee lever lowers the pitch of the two E strings. From what I can tell all the parts are original to the guitar with the exception of a couple shaft stops. I have been playing around with this for a couple of days. I would like to keep it, but I have an Emmons also and really do not need two. All the full and half step functions are working and in tune. I do not know how well these travel via shippers. I can only imagine that it will need to be re-tuned ... morewhen you get it. It is used and has normal light scratches, scuffs and dust. Nothing on the guitar is broken. Die Rachet-Verstellung lässt sich auch im aufgesetztem Zustand schnell verstellen und ideal an den Kopf des Träger anpassen. Dies ist ideal beim Atemschutzeinsatz. Er hat ein schwarzes Frontschild. Once used by miners to house their breathing safety apparatus. This vintage MSA Chemox Oxygen Equipment Trunk is a wonderful piece of mining history. Early mines didn't have imposed safety regulations and miners' lives were often threatened. Measuring 22 1/2" long, 16 1/2" wide, and 9 1/4" deep, this Breathing Apparatus Trunk at one time held a complete set of life-saving equipment. The exterior is a bright red color with lozine-like edging and original hardware and nail heads. The front of the trunk reads"M.S.A. Chemox Oxygen Breathing Apparatus Bureau of Mines Approval 1307" and has a red and gold label from the Mine Safety Appliance Co. Circa 1950's.
