I believe I have included enough photos for serious collectors to date it and to tell if this is one you want in your collection. It is certainly in nice condition and bears a lot of decals. I believe the clip on the front is to hold a Miners lamp and I am not sure what the purpose of the bottle attached on the back of the helmet is for but no doubt some kind of safety precaution or preparation. Also. there is a leather keeper strap on the back who's purpose I am unaware of but it looks to be a factory addition? The decals suggest it was used in either the oilfield or oilshale industry rather than mining but you can be the judge. No cracks or chips. The only thing I would mention is that the hardhat liner is missing ... morethe ear warmers that zip around and attach to it. Well-maintained. Used MSA Advantage 1000 Air Purifying Respirator(APR) or gas mask, if you prefer. Mask is in very good used condition with excellent flexibility in the rubber and visor. Straps are intact and fully functional nylon webbing with six adjustment points. The filters shown are for illustration purposes and are not re-usable; these have long since expired and just opening the package activates the filters. I'll include the expended filters in the sale as buyers will be mostly interested in this item as a collectible. I make no warranties as to suitability for use.
