This mask. As is one other I'm listing, is from a military estate. I obtained them and really know nothing about mask so will try and describe best I can with the identification marks. This mask looks to be unused although I do not know its history and in fine condition showing only light scattered storage marks. On top of mask is marked US M and on the separate protective mask is M/L which I believe is medium/ large. Stamped on the strap in blue ink is MSA- 12940-149. The canister that's on it is marked MS T91 B005-013. Other marks are 91 MSA 5073 M1 C1 M3 and MSA 11 91-16. Hope this helps someone looking for one of these because I have no idea what the markings mean. Comes in a protective nylon or vinyl case with belt attachments. Thanks

This is a 96 MSA 2607 M2C7 Gas Mask 03 ATX 9405 with Voice Enhancer& Carry Bag Marked US. The mask is in used condition but is complete and the rubber on the mask in the hose very good. There are no breaks in the rubber and the straps that hold the mask to the head are complete and good. The carrier bag has no tears and needs cleaning but is in very good condition. The lenses on the mask are in used condition and have some mars and streaks. They should clean off nicely but they will still show some of the mars. I am selling the mask in as is condition and as I received it. The mask may be US issue but I am Not sure and I don't know but I think it may be US Army. This is a USED MSA Advantage 1000 full face mask respirator that has the 2 NATO threaded filters installed with the Millenium adapter kits on the unit. The adapter kits adapt the bayonet style attachment to a threaded filter attachment as shown. To remove the adapter just remove the green gasket and the black plastic spacer under the gasket(this locks the adapter in place) then twist it off like you would a bayonet filter. I do not see any breaks in the seals or scratches on the lens. We do not have the equipment to test the masks. You get the exact unit shown. The filters shown are included but they are clearly used so are just for show. We don't know how much use they have. Listing is for a 1950's MSA Dustfoe Respirator with tin box. Instructions, and an unused box of/with 5 filters. The respirartor already has a filter. The box lid shows patent number 2220324, which corresponds to 1940. Also has design patent number 168311, which corresponds to 1952. The only address i see is"Pittsburgh 8, PA. with no zip code. Zip codes were first used on July 1, 1963. So this was made sometime after 1952 and before 1963. The interior of the lid also has printing, did not notice while doing photos. Tin measures approximately 5 1/4" by 3 1/4" by 2 3/4" The mask's rubber liner shows age discoloration in places, see photos.
