This is a good working magneto Fairbanks Morse type J 1A2 ser# 915944. Not sure what application but believe it would be a stationary eng. single cyl. Gear is 3 3/4 across. The plug wire seems to be stuck in cap but works fine.

Rare Unjusual Little 2-Cycle Stationary Engine, 10" Flywheel
Here we have an unusual little 2-cycle engine. Probably some kind of kit engine from about 1910 or earlier. The flywheel is 10" X 3 1/2" it has a brass Powell mixer with the throttle built into it, it has great compression, there are no cracks, breaks, or welds in it, and the base it sits on is also the fuel tank. It is missing the ignition system, but a Bemis timer or something similar could easily be attached to the end of the crankshaft in the back. There is a lobe on the crankshaft right behind the flywheel that would operate an ignitor, it`s gradual on one side and abruptly ends on the other side, so I think either this originally had an ignitor where the spark plug plate bolts on, or it was offered either way. The piston is different in that the deflector plate is bolted onto the top of it, and there is an spacer bolted to ... morethe underside of the head to control the compression, I`m not sure why it`s there, perhaps this was an experimental engine or they had different size spacers to control the compression for different fuels? It seems like an odd thing to have in the cylinder, especially since there`s no cooling for the spacer or the head. It`s a very unusual, different early looking engine, it has nice square lines to it, and best of all it can be picked up! This will only be listed once, we need money to pay for a Case crawler loader, but if there`s no interest in it it will land back on my shelf of future projects as fast as can be imagined!

Vintage 5-step pulley for v-belt drive, drill press, stationary engine 1.5" - 5"
Vintage 5-Step Aluminium pulley. Here's an old 5-step v-belt pulley. Most you see are 3 or 4-step. This one is made of cast and machined aluminium and it is ideal for an 11mm wide V-belt. This would sit level with the outer faces of each sheave. DIMENSIONS: Measuring across half the depth of each sheave. Which is I think is the correct way to do this, the 5 sections measure 1.5" 2.25" 3" 4" and 5" That's 38, 58, 77, 102 and 127mm. It is drilled for a 5/8" diameter shaft(15.9mm) and fixed by a single grub screw. The 5/8" hole goes half way through, then is reduced to 1/2" 12.7mm) If you wanted to fit it to a 1/2" shaft you would need to drill and tap this part of the casting for a grub screw. Up for auction is an original National Gas Engine spanner. The jaws are 5/8"ww and 7/8"ww and it is 12.5 inches long. It is very unusual in that it is curved. It looks to be factory made. not a regular straight one that has been heated up and bent) but i`m no expert. I have never seen one like this before. It has been weathered and has rust pitting. 1927 1-1/2hp john deere hit n miss antique stationary engine nice condition
this is a nice old restoration. I have the ignitor that has a very good repair. the base has a crack in the back(pic 6) only thing that seems to be missing is the pushrod and magneto even if not pictured I have them. otherwise all gears.Piston,rod,bearings all seem to be in good shape. Here are a couple of nice vintage oilers for the old hit or miss engines. The larger one is marked National Brass MFG. Co. Rochester N.Y. NO. 3. Overall length with the toggle up is about 6 1/2 inches. The round glass cylinder is about 2 1/4 inch diameter. The lower site glass is cracked on one side and the threads look a bit worn. See pictures. Otherwise everything else seems fine. Needs a good cleaning. The smaller one is marked Michigan Lubricator Co. Detroit Mich. and X12A 1 1/2. I guessed that makes it a size 1 1/2. May be wrong here. Condition is very good. I don't see any glass cracks. Overall length about 5 1/4 inches. Glass diameter is just under 1 3/4 inches. Wether its called a 92 or 31 or 32 or 19 11.111 or others it takes this air filter. Unless the engine is of the early production before 394000 The early one took a brass ring and screen filter. But after that number they took this cannister. There is a minor variation of this filter with out the set screw. We have them too. The reconditioned filter assemblies have all been carb cleaner dipped and soaked. Rinsed out and soaked again to ensure as much old crud is cleaned out as possible. Then prepped and painted. Hit miss magneto magnet charger stationary webster antique engine
Nice strong homemade magneto magnet charger. Will charge any magnet with north and south poles. May have to make adapter blocks for diffrent magnets. Coils are pretty thick. Makes a magnet very strong with a couple flips of the heavy duty/current switch. Has nice aligator clips for your 12v battery. Connections are good with shrinkwrap. Mounted on old pine plank board. Used Carburetor#26 Kohler Engine Lawn Mower Stationary Engine Parts& Repair ID#4705307. It has a hole in the float bowl which you can see in the pictures. Linkages are free. Normal wear. It has been glass beaded on the exterior. Selling as is for parts& repair. It measures approx. 1" across the throttle opening& 2 1/2" center to center of bolt holes. It measures approx. 1 1/2" across choke opening.

I HAVE FOR SALE ORIGINAL Fuel lines for a Fairbanks and Morse"Z" style engine. These fuel lines were removed from a 3 HP Z. These fuel lines are the factory lines that go from the carburetor into the gas tank on a"Z" where the tank is monted in the base of the engine. These lines are complete and in excellent condition just as they were removed from a running engine. The total length of each line in the flat position is approx. 16" There are NO cracks. Breaks, or welds anywhere these pcs. I would consider these bolt-on ready pieces. Not to many times do these come available as the complete package in good condition so don't get caught sleeping.
