NICE Unrestored Waterloo-Boy 1-1/2 HP hit & miss stationary engine one lunger
Here is a very nice and unmolested Waterloo Boy 1-1/2 horsepower engine with an igniter ignition. I do nit have a gas tank but I'll throw in the coil that seems to put off a good spark at the igniter contacts. I had it running for a little while as I didn't have a proper tank to use. It is a quiet and sweet sounding engine and in good shape. It held water fine outside of a bad petcock which needs replacing; I filled it up and looked it over and there are no cracks, compression is ok but it was sitting a long time and already got better while running it. It has been in the family a long time. I can have a vehicle going out from Massachusetts to Chickasha Oklahoma, leaving around the 15th of March and can possibly arrange to meet up along the way or have someone meet up at the Chickasha Prewar meet from the 19th to the 21st. McCormick Deering 3hp Model M stationary engine, complete, non running
This is for a McCormick Deering 3hp staionary engine. It is 100 percent complete, except for has no muffler, just an elbow, has the stare crank with it, the oiler is good, with good glass, the grease cups are the are free, the greaser for the connecting rod is free and clean, and works as it should, it is the ignitor type spark system, flywheels turn true, do not wobble, I bought this at an auction with intention of getting it running and restored, and have not had time to it. I have never had it running, I do not know the condition of the fuel tank, it is still on the original wooden trucks and the lettering is still in decent shape. I have taken the head off and piston out, so it will need to be put back together. Rings look good, cylinder is in very nice shape with no ridge in it. The fuel pump looks good, plunger is not frozen and works ... moreup down when you turn the flywheel. It is sitting on a old railroad mail cart. That has been totally rebuilt with new OAK, replicating the old wood that was taken off because that was rotted, that is included in the auction if it meets reserve, if it does no meet reserve, I will more than likely part this engine out, as I do not have the room to store it nor the time to restore it, It is for local pickup only. Can sit for 30 days after end of auction, if it is not picked up within 30 days or other arrangements made, it will be relisted and resold. I will be adding more pictures tomorow when I get them showing the engine with the head off. Picture of the cylinder, the piston, head and the cart it is on. Any questions. Cooper/Stewart Little Wonder Stationary Engine c 1915/18 cw Sheep Shearing gear
Hello and welcome to my Auction; on offer. One 2 HP COOPER LITTLE WONDER STATIONARY ENGINE C 1915/18, INCLUDING THE MAIN ATTACHMENTS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE RESTORATION OF THE MACHINE AS AN ORIGINAL SHEARING OUTFIT. Pictures 1,2 and 3 show the machine as it is. It does run but is in need of fine tuning, being currently fitted with a non standard Carburetor. It is a beautiful little Engine mechanically restored, but not painted) Fitted with copper fuel and water tanks it would be a polishers delight! these tanks are non original) Standing 34 inches high, from ground to top of the cooling tank. 18 inches wide, including Pulley but excluding Starting Handle and 15 inches from back to front this is a petite little engine. These Engines are'Hit and Miss' governed ignition operating by holding the exhaust valve open until speed is reduced, ... morewhich then allows the valve to close and the four stroke cycle take place speeding up the Engine and holding the exhaust valve open once more. When not under load they will fire approximately every 20 revolutions or thereabouts and make fascinating viewing. They are also effectively open crank, there being no bottom to the crankcase. Picture 4 shows the four brackets which I had cast to support the Shearing Gear, please note these are rough cast only and do need machining and completing, but would I am sure not be easily available elsewhere. I am happy to supply measurements etc of originals to aid machining of these parts if required. Picture 5 shows two original Cooper/Stewart Shearing Droppers(or drives) a near complete original Cooper/Stewart Carburetor and two 1902 patent Stewart No 5 Handpieces of the style which would have originally been supplied with these machines. All of which have been acquired for the intended restoration of this machine. Picture 6 is an identical Engine which I restored some years ago and which is currently still in my own collection, photographed by myself. Up for auction is a old vintage original flyable style governor( Make and model unknown) moves and turns as it should. This item has 2 brass knobs on the ends of the 2 lever arm. Comes with the pulley and old pulley belt. All the parts spins/ rotates freely and the spring is still strong.No apparent damage. It overall lenght is about 17" tall as shown,mounting bracket is approx.12 3/8" long and 7"wide, THE ATTACHMENT GOVERNOR ARM THAT STICKS OUT THE BOTTOM WITH A HOLE IN THE ONE END IS APPROX.7" LONG AND HAVE APPROX 3" OF TRAVEL WHEN IS WIDE OPEN, PULLEY IS 3 1/2" IN DIAMETER AND THE OLD BELT IS APPROX. 12 1/2" ON THE INSIDE. Use, care, operation, repair, installation and trouble shooting of steam engines, gas engines and refrigeration. Covers pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about these subjects. This is a large volume with 477 pages. A great reference with nice illustrations of several steam engines, Charter gas engine, Fairbanks Morse and a few others. This book measures 7 inches X 9 3/4 inches. There is some wear on the covers and bottom and top of spine. There is also some separation of the binding in a few areas. Brass strap says its a sumter 3-M No.14. Found this in a ranch dump on the bottom of the pile. It was seized up solid. I oiled it and broke it loose and actually got it to spark a few times flipping it around and I do feel some magnet pull but it will obviously need complete overhaul. It is rusty, the base is intact with some chipping and I think I see some threads in one hole and for sure none in the other. For parts or restore. More pics or questions if you need. The copper contact strips inside the box are in excellents condition. It has all the original thumb nuts and the original porcelain knife switch on the front. Includes the original porcelain Monowatt knife throw switch with a porcelain base. There is a rating cast into the porcelain base that says 30A 125V. It is in excellent condition and works well. SINGLE CYLINDER HIT MISS MYSTERY ENGINE MARINE STATIONARY
Offering this single cylinder engine of unknown origin. Cast iron cases. With no damage. Incorrect cylinder, base mount, holes do not line up with case holes. Single valve lifter. Engine would have had atmospheric intake. Piston is cast iron and fits bore 3-1/4" diameter. 3-9/16 cylinder base bore on case. Looks to have a 3-1/2" stroke. Motor mount holes are 10-7/8" x 2" center to center. The only casting numbers are in drive side of case and they are very faint. Looks to be E152. Drive shaft is 7/8" diameter. This picture is of the lid. I cleaned the lid up so the writing on it could be read. I bought this Light plant and tore it down and the fiber gear on the crank is bad. The one that runs the Cam. I'm going to part it out. It looks complete to me. It's back in the corner of my shop. If anyone is interested I'll dig it out. It has a 2 1/2 in. bore. I saw on the computer that someone was wanting parts for this generator, so I thought I would put it on. The weight on the shipping is the whole thing. Round ML Type MCKI Magneto Working Nice Spark Stationary Engine Lister A B Gas
Up for auction is a `Round` ML magneto. Type MCKI in working condition. HARD TO FIND. It is in quite nice shape externally. There are a few small dents to the"ML" embossed band. The aluminium is a little powdery with surface corrosion. No discernible wear to the armature bearings or end float. There is noticeable"pull" on the armature when it is rotated by hand. I cleaned the points and made a temporary HT lead. When spun clockwise(looking at the drive end) it gave a good spark. The HT lead feed-out is in poor shape outside of the casing but the threaded part and carbon brush are fine within the casing. It comes with a 12 tooth sprocket. It weighs 2kg unpacked. Up for auction is what I believe to be a late era. Small type, Amanco low tension magneto. Marked on the underside `H C T`. It is in nice shape externally. Looks to be complete and shows little wear to the armature bearings. It is untested. There is some"pull" on the armature when it is rotated by hand. It has"patented Sept. 21-1915" embossed on the casing below the armature bearing on the feed-out end. Manufacture must be post September 1915. It has two bolt fixing. Stationary hit miss engine-KEYSTONE adjustable pulley-terrific shape,nice one!!!
Here is a great engine pulley made by Keystone that is in top-notch condition and is adjustable. There is very little light surface rust on this if any and it shows signs of having seen little use but was well cared for-inside surfaces are smooth! Every thing is free and working as it should. The wood inserts are in great shape and look almost new when you take them out to have a look! The shaft hole size is 1 1/2" in diameter.The pulley measures 7" in diameter and is 4 7/8" wide. As stated. It is made by Keystone and you can still se the original decal inside-tried to show you in the pictures. Please do study the pictures well as they are a major part of the description of this pulley and do show you what great shape it is in.
