This carburetor looks to be in very good condition it does shown hardly any wrench marks its missing a knob and spring otherwise it looks complete. I can't seem to find this model none seem to be the same as this one. Its sells as you see it with no guarantees as to being complete or working. The is the early version of the Maytag grinders before they marked them with their name. This grinder with the two handle gear box would have come with the model 70-71-72 and 80-81-82 washers. This came from the Larry Benton Collection. Larry totally dismantled the gear box. And the grinder was also and cleaned to perfection. All surfaces except the sausage stuffer spout have been cleaned to perfection then painted. This was set up for display, not for use, as the paint Is Not food grade. Up for your consideration is this BARN FRESH Maytag model 31 Hit/miss gas engine. This has a kick start and appears to be mostly complete. I don't know anything about these types of engines so please refer to the pictures and make your own judgment. I did notice the spark plug and a muffler or something are missing. The big wheel has pressure but does still spin so it's not seized up. Great restoration project! Hasn't seen the light of day in many many years! Old Early 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Head Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a real nice original cylinder head for an early 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is the early style for the engines with an ignitor or plugoscillator ignition. It has been professionally repaired and looks great! The valves have the original springs and intake guard and are nice and tight in the guides and they have been gound. The throttle shaft is nice and tight and the water injection needle works as it should. This head mounts to the cylinder on a 5 inch square bolt pattern. There is one small repair spot by the pushrod guide that could be dressed down a bit if you'd like but I'm sure it would be fine just the way it is. I believe this head is ready to be used on an engine. These original heads for the early engines are pretty tough to find and they are usually broken badly. All of the hard and costly work has been ... moredone on this one! If you need one to replace yours or just would like a spare on the shelf they just don't get much nicer than this one. Old Stover K Hit Miss Gas Engine Fuel Mixer Carburetor Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a real nice original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Stover hit and miss gas engine. I believe it if for a Model K engine but may fit others like the CT series as well. It mounts with two 3/8 inch holes 2 inches apart on center. The needle moves as it should. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs anywhere except for the screw that holds the choke door on. I'm sure this would be and easy repair with just a little patience. These mixers are rather hard to find so if you need one for a restoration or just for a spare on the shelf here's your chance. Old Vintage KW Motorcycle Lighting Attachment Magneto Hit Miss Engine Dynamo WOW
This is an extremely rare belt driven dynamo or generator that was used as a lighting attachment for an early motorcycle. It was made by KW. One of the leading early electrical builders for automobiles, tractors, and motorcycles. It is in excellent condition with the exception of the fatigue crack in the housing. This in no way affects performance. It could easily be disguised and never known that it is even there. The bearing in this unit are as close to perfect as you could hope to find with almost no wear. The armature turns over smoothly with excellent magnetic pull and this dynamo puts out extremely good voltage just turning it over by hand. It has what looks like the original v-belt pulley on it as well as the clamp for the frame. The only wear I could see on it was on part of the brass mounting bracket. This may have been removed as ... morepart of an early application. I did no cleaning or polishing and will leave that to the buyer. I figured someone may want it for an original motorcycle so I left it along. These are EXTREMELY tough to find so if you need one for a restoration or addition to your early motorcycle, don't pass this one up. Old Antique Michigan Brass Hit Miss Gas Steam Engine Rod Oiler Tractor Magneto
This is a very rare original Michigan connecting rod oiler for an early hit and miss gas engine or steam engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 2 1/8 inches in diameter and about 4 1/8 inches tall overall. The glass is in perfect condition. It has 3/8 inch pipe threads which are in great shape. The Michigan name is in the top as can be seen. The only flaw that I've noted is the wrench marks on the mounting hex which shouldn't be noticed all that much when it's on an engine. One of the flats has"2 1/2" stamped into it. This is a very rare rod oiler that certainly doesn't turn up very often so if you need one for your engine restoration or to fill that hole in your brass collection don't pass it up! Old 303M9 Field Brundage Hit Miss Gas Engine Webster Magneto Ignitor Steam NICE!
This is a rather tough to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a Field Brundage 1 1/2hp hit and miss gas engine. It is bracket number 303M9 and is in near perfect condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 3 inches apart on center. There is extremely little wear on the movable shaft. The points will last a while yet but could be replaced if you so choose. Everything works as it should on this bracket and it is ready to be used on an engine. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. Old Original EJ Brass Era Car Auto Side Light Horseless Carriage Hit Miss Engine
This is a very hard to find original brass E& J sidelight for an early brass era automobile. It is in good condition for being over 100 years old and has some character. It has some light damage near the top from something denting it and also on the fuel bowl. I think with a little patience both of these could be easily remedied. The square glass is broken and this too will be an easy replacement. The round glass and the red jewel are in great shape. The door opens as it should. It is marked E& J with a 1908 patent date on the top. The burner seems to be in great shape. The brass is in overall good condition with just some minor blemishes and with just a little TLC this could be a VERY nice light. It stands about 10 1/2 inches tall. This is a real nice original cast iron starting crank for an Associated hit and miss gas engine. It is part letter AUM and fits on a 1 3/8 inch crankshaft. 4 Antique Cast Iron Scale Wheels for Hit Miss Gas Engine Cart, 5 in, old vintage
Here is a great set of 4 matching antique cast iron wheels. They each have 6 spokes that curve slightly. Giving them an attractive look. These wheels are 5 inches in diameter with a 1 7/16 inch tread or rolling surface. The axle hole is 11/16 inches in diameter. When we got them they were rusty, but we have cleaned the rust off of them with a wire brush and buffing pad. A small amount of light rust remains in the center holes and in between the spokes. These wheels are embossed with PA13 on one of the spokes. They came off of an old industrial scale cart. They would be perfect for a hit and miss engine cart, antique machinery display, or industrial furniture project.

Up for bids is an antique hit and miss engine. Montgomery Wards& Co. Auto Sparker Magneto. It appears to be complete except for the oil fill hole caps as can be seen in the pictures. The Brass Tag lid on the back reads“2500 RPM No. 6127 Type: J-5, Pat. July 17th 1900, May 23rd 1901, May 20th 1902. This spins freely by hand. It appears to have a little bit of bearing wear. This may need to be cleaned up or rebuilt. It even has the often missing friction drive governor and is loose. Buy as is with no returns, but buy with confidence!
