Pair of approximately 1937 Hummer model E2 engines running Montgomery Wards battery chargers or generators. Mounted on a homemade 2 wheel wheelbarrow type cart. Both engines have been restored and run. Although they are a little tempermental and may need a little tinkering to get running. Green Engine specifics: Model E2 Horsepower 5/8 RPM 1750 Serial E2H20194 This engine is a direct drive generator with a cast iron base and a tin gas tank(repaired) beneath engine and generator. It has a 6 volt battery and coil ignition system. Has points in the housing on the end of the crankshaft. Has a foot pedal for starting that doesn't work well so I start it by wrapping a pull rope around the pulley. The generator has been cleaned up and seems to charge. But I'm no generator expert. Has a foot pedal for starting that works good. It has an old repair to the crankcase that was repaired before I got it that does not affect operation at all. This one does smoke a little. I built the cart from salvaged materials and new wood. I don't think you will find a better pair of Hummer engines anywhere! Onan CMM 7000 commercial gas generator. This unit is in great overall condition. It runs out and generates flawlessly. Low speed super quiet and ready to go the distance onan makes the best small mobile power units. The dimensions are 30" wide 20" deep and 16" tall. It weighs between 250-300 lbs. These make great auxiliary power units. The hour meter is digital and doesn't display great but looks like it says 419.9 hours. Compression checked at 170 psi on both cylinders which is excellent.
