This is a machine that can't be described as new. But it has just enough wear to save you almost half its cost over new. This machine sells for over $7500. It was used briefly as a gym sander, set up and attached to a ryder. The handle has been extended, but it can be reconfigured for walk-behind sanding. Also, the outrageously powerful 9HP motor is 3-phase. You can use it in situations with only single phase voltage if you use a phase converter. Those are available new for less than $200. The 3-phase motor can be more powerful in the same size housing. Also, the voltage delivery is smoother, more consistent, making for a smoother, balanced motor operation, a key advantage in floor sanding. The BD 12 uses both sanding belts and roll paper. Your choice. Purchased from our personal friend who had a small hardware store. This was supposed to be a rental. But he never rented it out, as he had two other units that were also rentals. Only machine#1 was rented out. This is machine#3. When we purchased it from him, it still had factory material on it. We used it a couple of times, but it's way too industrial for our family owned business. I may be able to get the original paper work on it? But our friend has since retired. So he's not sure where he placed it, but will look. If we obtain it, we will send it with the machine. It's a very nice machine, with very little use on it! Local pickup available.
