I've got a Vintage Clarke floor sander. It's in quite good condition and it does work. There are a few minor things wrong. On the front of the sander where the lid lifts up to expose sanding drum the metal is broke on one side impairing the hinging on that side of the lid. Shown in the last photo. It has the original instruction booklet! Also has the dust collection bag but it has a small hole it in as shown in photos. It is from the 1950's not sure of the exact year. Here is another relic! A Vintage Clarke V-5 floor sanding edger. From the 1950's. Yes it works! Is in pretty good shape though it has a few minor flaws as is to be expected in a piece of it's age. It has a broken piece on the top housing as you can see in the photos. The handles tend to slide off but am sure that could be remedied if it is intended to be used. The dust collector and bag are missing and still has the original electrical plug as you can see in the photos. The original instruction booklet has been preserved as well. Being sold AS IS. Vintage Clarke MV-8 Floor Drum sander and Clarke V-5 Edger
I've got a Vintage Clarke MV-8 floor sander. It's in quite good condition and it does work! There are a few minor things wrong as is to be expected in a piece this old. On the front of the sander where the lid lifts up to expose sanding drum the metal is broke on one side impairing the hinging on that side of the lid. It has the original instruction booklet! Also has the dust collection bag but it has a small hole it in as shown in photos. It is from the 1950's not sure of the exact year. Could be a nice addition to a collection! It really is a cool piece! There is a roll of coarse sandpaper that goes along with it as well. I have removed the old piece of sandpaper that was shown in one of the photos to show the drum itself. The drum appears to be in good shape. But I am no expert on that. Also being sold with this floor sander ... moreis another relic! A Vintage Clarke V-5 floor sanding edger. From the 1950's. Yes it works! Is in pretty good shape though it has a few minor flaws as is to be expected in a piece of it's age. It has a broken piece on the top housing as you can see in the photos. The housing at the bottom also has cracks in it. The handles tend to slide off but am sure that could be remedied if it is intended to be used. The dust collector and bag are missing and still has the original electrical plug as you can see in the photos. The original instruction booklet has been preserved as well. The backing plate under the sanding discs is a little rounded but not tore up. These were listed separately previously but I am selling them as a set now for one low price. Clarke EC-8 8" Drum Floor Sander Working
Works good and bearings sound decent. Drum is in good shape but does show wear. Drum key is included. It has about 30 feet of heavy duty wiring on it that looks ok but it does have some electrical tape on it. The plug end on it has no ground prong but does have a ground plug lead sticking out of it. The plug should have a cardboard end cap on it as you can see the bare screw heads between the prongs. I don't see anything chipped.cracked or broken. Switch is working. Model EC-8 1 1/2 hp.18 amp, 115 volt. 5000 rpm. The bottom unit with the handle and mounts removed weighs 88 lbs before packing and I will double box it which adds more weight.
