I cannot find this manufacturer online. Just reads Electric Appliance Company, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco-New Orleans, on the side. I do not see any date marked on it, nor model. It appears to originally be a 5 bar magneto, with one bar missing, I do not know what this is out of, I assume a telephone. I took readings off of it with my multimeter, it pulled about 70 watts at 15 amps at the most, not sure if amperage is correct, that's just what my meter showed though. WESTINGHOUSE INDUSTRIAL GENERATOR DESK MODEL VINTAGE ELECTRIC MOTOR REPLICA
Very cool vintage industrial advertising paperweight for Westinghouse with a metal replica of a Westinghouse generator or motor mounted to a wood base with a pen holder off to the side. This industrial model is cast in a silvered metal and is embossed with the Westinghouse"W" on the end. The replica measures 5" long by 2.25" tall and almost 3" wide. It is mounted to a 9" by 5" wood base with a swiveling black plastic pen holder to the side of the motor. There used to be a metal plaque mounted to the base. Probably identifying the motor or the company employee who received this desk piece, but it is missing. The underside has four felt feet, and the entire piece weighs 1.5 lbs. Up for auction/ your consideration is a Vintage Winco 3500 Watt Electric Generator. Please review all the information and examine and review all the pictures before placing a bid on this item. History of this generator: It was bought back in 7-15-1975 and has been in the family since then. It was initially bought for a back up power for a family farm/ranch. But was only lightly used. It has been inside covered storage areas for most of it's life. For at least the last 20 years, it has been stored in a warehouse in a closed areas, not being used. Even though I bought the generator brand new, over the years I have misplaced the original owners manual. All the information that I have gathered is from sales brochures, manufactures catalogs and the sales material that the original person selling the item gave to me. Things that I did do to ... morethis generator: Cleaned the outside only. And used only basic cleaners to remove the old dirt, dust and dried oil: this was on only on one side of the generator, where the choke control is. In the process of moving around the cradle I was able to check each of the isolation/motor mounts and they all were intact and in good condition. Checked the oil level and consistency from both sides. As there is an oil fill/check cap on both sides of the Briggs and Stratton engine. It was in very good shape with no contaminated materials in it. It was clear and at a good level inside of the motor on both sides. I did not replace any of the oil as it all seemed to be in great shape. I checked the choke operation and it opened and closed like it is supposed to. I checked the air filter. It was not that dirty. But it has been slightly crushed on one side. It still seals to the top and bottom of the air cleaner case, but should be replaced to keep it working/filtering properly. The outside foam filter was removed, as it has disintegrated over the time it was in storage. I replaced the original spark plug. Western Electric Model 118A Frequency Generator also known as a Ring Generator. This device produces the voltage needed to ring a telephone. 110-125v at 30Hz. When I used to restore phones, I would use this to test the ringers. I have sold off all of my antique phones so I no longer have any use for this. Antique Electric Spark Generator Tesla Coil Item Description: This is a very rare Tesla Style Spark Generator for High Voltage science demonstrations. It plugs into a 110VAC outlet. It has a power swtch and when turned on. A spark will jump between the two electrodes. One electrode is the ball on top of a vertical coil and the other electrode is an arm that is adjusted to draw the longest spark between them. The other horizontal coil is called the Kick Coil. Contacts at the end of the coil are adjusted by a large thumbscrew to bring the frequency to resonance. It can produce voltages of several thousand volts at the electrodes. This item has no markings and manufacturer and exact age is not known. The only mark is"Kick Coil" printed at the end of the large coil. It appears to be complete and assumed working. The wooden box measures approx. 6" x 6" x 2 1/2" It is about 7" high overall including coil and electrodes. It is very well constructed and is very solid. Electrodes are tanished but otherwaise in Excellent condition. All plastic or Bakelite pieces are also Very Good. The are no broken wires to the Kicker Coil. Electric cord may not be original. It is old and fairly stiff but still intact. This is a great display piece just the way it is. It is in overall Very Good to Excellent condition. The metal electrodes need to be cleaned and polished before it can be used to create a good spark. With a little effort it can create impressive sparks and amaze all who see it. A really OLD motor- generator? made by Royal. It has an oil cup and is in really nice shape, even though it could use a good cleaning. Not tested but no reason to think it does not work. The first welder is a ranger 10.000 with a 20hp kohler engine runs and welds amazing has 732hrs and 1hr on the overhaul had one head replaced and new valves installed. This welder comes with 2 leads one is 100ft with brand new tweco ground clamp the other is a little over 50ft with newer 300amp tweco stinger it sits on a homeade wheelburrow style cart with lead holders,makes moving it around alot easier welder#2 is a ranger 8,000 that does not run my mechanic told me its got valve issues and possibly needs new rings it has an 18hp ohnan engine everything else on it is in working condition had a quote of 1100 for replacement engine but for the price your basically getting it for free.Also the welder on the ground is the running one that belongs on the cart ... morei just removed it to move the other one out of the way. This auction is for the pictured Kohler Electric Light Plant Generator 1.5KW Model 1AH21. I got this from the original owners daughter. It was bought new and used at a cabin in the upper peninsula of Michigan. As you can see and hear from the video it runs great. Purrs like a kitten. The fuel pump needs to be rebuilt so I am running it from a fuel tank directly to the carburetor. This is also setup to run on propane. I am not sure where to test if it is producing power from so if anyone knows please let me know and I will test it. The generator was working great when it was removed from the cabin so I don’t see why there would be any problems. The batteries and cart it is sitting on is not included in this auction.
