There are 2 GLASS areas both are intact with no breaks. Very nice old piece also marked 1 1/2. Antique Hit and Miss Gas Engine or Steam Engine Cast Iron Clutch Pulley.
This auction is for an antique clutch pulley for a steam or Hit and Miss engine. It is 9" in Diameter and the belt face is 6 1/2" wide. It looks like it will fit a Shaft that is 1 1/4" in Diameter. It is all free and all of the pieces fit together well. The Roller Bearings appear to be in good condition. It is cast iron and is very heavy. It has the words cast into it"Patent(PPLD? For Twin Disc Clutch Racine. WI. I only see 1 clutch lining disc, but it looks like it should be easy to find another. It looks like it has been dinged up around the shaft hole, but I don't think it would affect the operation of it. I have never used a clutch like this, so I don't know much about it. You are bidding on a wonderful antique C. PERKES BRASS& CAST IRON BILGE HAND PUMP. It is in EXCELLENT near PRISTINE condition. The old timer I purchased this from said his father would use this pump to fill the steam engine tractor that they used. You put your foot through the hole in the cast iron base. It is a beautiful piece to look at and made mostly of brass. It still has the rubber seal in the pump so I am sure it works! This was also commonly used as a bilge pump on boats. You just need to pick it up to know that the quality is amazing. The last patent year is 1901. S PECS: The pump body is 2.00" O.D. by about 10" long. Inside diameter(where the plunger moves) is 1.84" I.D. The plunger inside appears to be leather. And is in good shape considering its age. Overall height retracted is 24-1/8" tall, with stroke ... moreextended about 33" tall overall. Nice comfortable two-hand wooden handle is 8-1/2" wide. This item weighs in at a very solid 10 lb 1 oz(4563 g) The water inlet is 2" from the floor, and the water outlet fits the female end of a standard 3/4" garden hose. We did not test whether or not it pumps water- didn't want water inside messing up shipping/padding- but the plunger operates up/down as it should. And one can feel air pressure on the outlet when pumping. But you should assume that it needs work/maintenance to be operational/reliable as a bilge pump on your boat or ship. Pumping action is essentially smooth; probably even more so if some grease were added to the plunger inside- but we've left that to you, if you so choose to do so. If you have any questions. Antique Hercules ZXB Boat/Tractor Gas Engine
Antique 4 cylinder boat engine and transmission. Got this from a local machine shop for a spare for my boat but turns out the casting is a little different so won't bolt into my boat without some changes. They said it ran several years ago when previous owners boat was repowered. When I removed the air cleaner and sprayed a little starting fluid in it coughed when cranked over. Fuel lines. Tank,and filter should to be cleaned before running gas through. Hand crank, no starter or generator. Has a magneto for the spark plugs. Self-contained cooling system, doesn't use river water for cooling. Honeycomb radiator still has antifreeze in it. Stromberg carb on it and probably needs new gaskets but they're really simple to overhaul. Very cool housing for this engine. The only thing missing that I could find is a drain plug on the bottom ... moreof the carburetor. There is an inline fuel filter between the stock filter/bowl and carb that looks to be a newer addition to this engine. This is same engine used in some tractors and military generators. I will build shipping crate for cost of materials and can take to freight terminal for $0.80/mile(one-way mileage not round trip) I can deliver within 150 miles of my house for $0.80/mile.

ANTIQUE 1929 MAYTAG RESTORED LONG FRAME GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS WRINGER WASHER
Up for sale is a very nice Maytag Model 92 long frame Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 409483 stamped on it which was in production in October 1- December 30. 1929. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug ... morewire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. The frame does have a very small chunk pissing that you can see in the picture. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. My friend deals in Maytag motor parts and he took the carburetor apart cleaned and rebuilt it and also rebuilt the ignition plate putting a new condenser on. He also takes pride with his work. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. The buyer agrees to pay an extra $35.00 packing fee. I use foam spray to pack the motor and it takes a lot when I am done it will float in the ocean

TECUMSEH No. 1 CIGAR BOX c.1875 This auction is for an original old 1870s era cigar box panels are a hardwood. Perhaps mahogany this explains why after more than 138 years the wood is flat and straight has the original an early brass locking mechanism which works. The manufacturer of these cigars tried really hard to please the customer. Since the box itself exhibits expensive materials, too bad it was a short lived brand of cigars and there may be one or two others out there. Box is called"Tecumseh No.1" probably the name of the early steam fire pumper pictured on the lithographed label inside and printed on the top of the lid. You are bidding on an antique Ottawa Drag Saw Hit and Miss Engine. Made by the Ottawa Mfg Company. Ottawa Kansas. I found it at a NH estate sale tucked away in the back of a barn. The brass plate on the hopper reads"The Ottawa No: TE 27676, HP: 5, Speed: 550 RPM" Engine turns over nice and smooth. Has good compression. Still has the antique spark plug. All of the levers and controls work. Nothing is seized. Gas tank is n good shape. Hopper has no cracks or repairs that I can see. The machine is mounted on a moving dolly. It was probably mounted on this since new. There also is an electric box on one side of the engine. Plaque reads Wico Type EK. The oiler on the top of the engine still has oil in it. It is heavy but it moved nicely on the cart. The oiler is marked"The D.T. Williams Valve Company No, 1" Comes with a large ... morebuzz saw attachment. It mounts right to the engine. The two fly wheels on either side measure 18" and 15" Approximate engine measurements, not including the cart are 24" wide. 34" deep. 24" tall. It has some dings and scratches but that should be expected from a light that has seen years of service. The internal gears are in great shape and work flawlessly. This is an older version of the famous"888" light. It has a chrome reflector and bayonet base style bulb instead of a sealed beam bulb. It has a clear glass lens and the reflector and lens are in excellent shape. The chrome bullet motor cover has had a piece cut out on the bottom(see pictures) the mounting bracket covers most of it and it in no way effects it's operation. This thing is bigger than you think at almost 10 inches long and almost 7 inches wide.

This testing instrument has a last patent date of 1895. It was found in its original wood box with many used and unused indicator test diagram papers. I believe this would have been used on early locomotives, ships or any type of steam engine powered item. It appears to be a very high quality instrument and was probably quite expensive when purchased new over 100 years ago. The box measures approximately 9 inches wide by 7 inches deep and is about 5 1/2 inches tall in the closed position. It appears to be in pretty decent condition with some expected wear from age and use. This is just the way we acquired it out of the estate. This mill is marked" No. 1" and as best I can read is also marked" Patented April- 1878" and" April- 1880" This mill is frozen up and will not turn. I have not done anything with it since I aquired it many years ago from my local scrap iron dealer then. Hopper is as seen in the photos appears to be made from the tapered top of an old milk can. There is a crack in the frame on the one side and I have included photos to show that. It can be repaired. The catch that engages the backside of the adjusting rod handle is also broken off. Overall height as it appears to the top of the hopper is 23 inches. Overall width at the widest. Which is to the outside ... moreof opposite side feet is 19-1/4 inches. Overall longest length to the end of the adjustment rod stickin out on the one end is apprx 28-1/2 inches. Without that end of adjustment rod sticking out. The length is apprx 24-1/2 inches long. Flat belt pulley and flywheel are good. Drive flat belt pulley is 6-1/2" diameter. And the pulley face is 5-7/8" wide. Some old orange paint underneath shows the original paint color. A unique old and different burr mill that will need some restoration. Please NO PAYPAL ON THIS ITEM. Expect C-a-s-h payment upon pickup. This will need to be picked up. Antique Vintage Hit Miss Water Wagon or Fire Truck Pump This listing is for an Antique Hit Miss Water Pump. This is a water pump off an old frame that I bought years ago. I just had the frame with the pump attached on the one end minus any tank or running gear. I assumed it was a water wagon frame. That red frame is long gone. I have never used this pump but is has always turned over and looks good. It has always been in dry storage. It does turn over(and over) without issues or problems. The bearings and journals all look good; and the pistons move up and down as they should. Everything is nice and tight as it should be. I do not see any wear in the bearings. Journals, rods, pistons, etc. You need a pulley on the shaft to turn it, it is that good and tight. It has never been frozen up. It is in really good condition for its age. The pulley ... moreshaft is keyed on both ends and is a 1-1/8 inch shaft. I do not know how it was driven of used. There are part numbers on the pump but no name brand. It is mainly cast iron construction and is very heavy at apprx 90 pounds. It is actually not very big but is very heavy. As it sets on the cement(just a little crooked as it leans back) in the pictures it is apprx 19 inches tall. Front to back is apprx 13 inches. From one end of the shaft to the other end is apprx 17-1/2 inches. So the main pump body width is less. Shipping only to a physical address. No P.O. boxes. It will be well packaged and fully insured. Antique Vintage Hit Miss This listing is for an Antique Hit Miss Gas or Fuel Tank on Stand This is an old gas or fuel tank for a stationary engine. It is a nice smaller size. The tank is held on the short stand by two straps. I took it off the stand to check the bottom of the tank. Which looks good. There is a fuel gauge on the one side and a petcock& sediment bowl on a different side. There is a drainplug on the bottom accessable through a hole in the stand platform. I have never used this so I do not know the condition of that fuel gauge. There is rust/rusting inside so it would need to be cleaned out. Small shallow dent on the top that is hard to see and I have include a photo to try to show this. The petcock& sediment bowl would be taken off for shipping. Shipping cost is based on the assembled tank on stand. The top brass ball on this lubricator has a crack. Which appears to go all the way through. One of the glass tubes has some cracks and would need to be replaced. Up for bids is this great barn find. It is a very early Standard Oil gas engine oil crate. It has a great paper label with nice old graphics. The centerpiece of the label is a hit and miss engine. The paper lable has some minor losses but show nicely. The label is loos in places and does have some tears. I'm sure this crate could be restored beautifully. I did not want to put any type of finish on it as some want them as found. It was covered with a century worth of barn dust and grime when I found it at a recent estate sale. The only thing I have done is wipe it down so you could see the great graphics. I'm sure with some patience and cleaning the old label could really shine. The crate measures 15" high X 10" wide X 11" deep. The wood sides are nailed in. The back has some stenciled writing on it but I can't make ... moreit out. Please note that the rear cover is detached but has the Wonder logo. The Front cover is missing. All other pages are well stapled. A little grimy but completely readable and almost completely untorn or unfold or undamaged. There is a stain on the last page on the inside edge but it does not affect the pic as you can see in the last photo pic before the drawing that gives the latest patent date for the mixer as 1911 with others pending. Harbour acquired Burks Pump Company in 1990 and merged Prosser-Enpo into Burks, and Crane Corporation acquired Burks in 1993 and renamed it Crane Pumps& Systems, Inc. Nothing else is known of CMC’s operations. Other than it had ceased operations in Waterloo by 2003.
