Part numbers are a little tricky to read but I believe they say ZBA4A and ZBA198B. Throttle shaft moves freely. The steel strap that holes the fuel line to the bowl is split/cracked, seems to still be doing its job though! The springs on the valves are broken. See pictures for the absolute best description. Keep in mind this is a used item, it has wear and is almost 100 years old. Selling as is.

Up for auction is this great looking old antique Brass And Glass Pump Oiler! This is a Wm. Powell Oiler and measures about nine inches tall! Everything works and all I see is a small chip near the top on the glass but it will no interfear with the seal. The valve has a wooden knob and it works but it does have a scratch on it but not bad. Up for bids at auction: Up for bids today is this antique cast-iron Ottumwa Pump& Engine Co. well pump. This old pump came from a farm estate in Southern Iowa and is in excellent condition. No breaks. Cracks, or old repairs. As you can see in the pictures it is been painted and repainted several times over– it appears that the original color may have been red. For you collectors– this pump is extremely rare. I have only been able to locate mention of one more of these pumps in existence. Little to no information exists about the manufacturing company– we're assuming they were in operation around the end of the 19th century, possibly very early 1900s. This is definitely a must-have item for a well pump collector, an old farm collector, or a hit& miss engine enthusiast. Antique CRETORS Steam Engine from Popcorn Cart Early 1900's~CooL!!!
You are bidding on this really Cool Antique CRETORS Steam Engine that originally came off of an old popcorn cart. I got this from an elderly gentleman that acquired it from the original owner a Mr. Brinks of Clarksville. Arkansas, if I understood the story right Mr. Brinks was a local business man in the area. Anyway, this is a really cool old steam engine that when you hook it up to an air hose runs quite smoothly. I sure there were probably other parts that connected it to the popcorn cart, but what you see in the pictures is what you get. It really needs to be mounted to a board so that the wheel can spin freely without being held off the ground. This engine has been stored away for years and all I have done to it is blow a little dust off, I sure if you desired that it would polish up nicely. The cast iron base on this steam engine measures ... more19-1/4 inches long by 6-3/4 inches wide and the engine itself stands a little over 7 inches tall, and the wheel has a 7-1/4 inch diameter. The steam engine has a plaque on the bottom that reads"MAN'FD. BY C.CRETORS& CO. CHICAGO, U.S.A.~ENGINE NO.4904" and it also has patent dates from May 19th, 1903 through May 26th, 1908. The family indicated that the engine and boiler were operational and in use when purchased but have only been on display for the past 30 years. We have run the engine on air and it functions nicely without problems. We are not steam boiler experts and have not fired the boiler and will leave that to the new owner. There are no logos. ID tags or markings on the engine that we can find. There is a piece of the engine mounting base broken and missing at a mount bolt hole and can be seen in the photos. The large engine oiler has had ... morea solder repair made and is shown in the photos. One of the side oilers is missing the drip glass. The governor belt is somewhat loose and not driving as it should. The boiler ash door is missing a hinge. The cart frame is made of 2-1/2" X 3-1/2" oak and measures 54" X 25-1/2" The outside width of the wheels is 32" and the front and back axles are 45" center to center. The front wheels are 8" X 2-1/2" and the rear are 12" X 2-1/2" From the ground to the top of the whistle is 77" and from the ground to the top of the boiler stack opening is 65" The boiler is 58" tall from the bottom of the ash box to the top of the stack opening. The boiler measures 18" X 44" and the fire box opening is 7" X 6" and the stack opening is 8" The boiler has 13 tubes 1-1/2" in diameter. The water pump piston is 1" in diameter. Stover Duro antique stationary gas engine with rare Wico magneto. teens-1920s
this has been on display for several years in the Scrapologist Museum. And now has been replaced with a new purchase. Stover Duro gas antique engine with Wico magneto. The Duro's with the magneto are quite few and far between. Turns over with good compression, weak spark, service needed. I did test the coils and the condenser. Both tested good) nothing broken or repaired. When it was apart the fuel pipe was found it the bottom the the tank. This is what took it out of service. Many of these were used as pump engines, I have also heard that some were sold to National sewing machine to run their equipment. I am sure there were many other uses. No broken fins. No I have not run this engine. it ruins the paint. I will plywood crate it. I will Use Fastenal. They only ship terminal to terminal. This is a locomotive model. A complete model of the locomotive engine showing a section through the steam chest with the piston and valve connected to their proper parts. Excellent illustration of link motion; use of reversing gear and action of eccentric clearly shown. It is 15 inches long overall and the cranking wheel measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter and it is made of cast iron. On the cranking wheel it is marked Chicago Apparatus Co. Chicago Ill. When you turn the wheel the piston goes back and forth and the valves open and close. Please click on the enlarge button and carefully view all the photos. I think it was manufactured in the 1920s.

This auction is for a Briggs& Stratton model N. This engine is a good project for somebody. It does have compression and will bounce back a little when spun over by hand to the compression stroke. I can also feel the coil dragging a little bit on the flywheel. One of the mounting holes on the engine base is broke off although the base's for these are not hard to find. Pulley is made to fit a 1-1/8 inch shaft I believe this came from part of an old saw mill that I purchased with a few hit miss engines. This part was dug out of storage and now up for auction. You are bidding on a wonderful RARE WORKING SCALED MODEL OF AN 1830 STEAM POWERED HAMMER MILL. We just acquired this while out picking in farm country in upstate NY. What an awesome piece of history and so well crafted. The old gentleman said it was built by his father. Who was a steam fitter, in the 1920's. I have not tested it, but see no reason at all why it should not work. When the wheel is turned the hammer slams up and down, the roller mill works, and the metal shears cut. It needs a little tweaking in that the hammer has a little too much play and sometimes misses. That's the only apology. It has a lead plaque that reads"STEAM DRIVEN HAMMER MILL OF 1830" The piston moves freely in the cylinder. The piece has great paint and patina and displays beautifully. antique Reo small gas engine motor with unusual pulley attachment
Used Reo brand antique small gas engine/ motor. Found it in the back of my Dad's shed when cleaning up an old junk pile. Seems to be complete except for the gas cap and the nut that holds the ropestart pulley on. I believe the gas tank bracket is homemade. It seems to have been repainted at some point as well. Motor turns over with pretty good compression. I have not tried to start it. The interesting part of this unit it that the power side of the motor has a housing attached that changes the pulley from vertical to horizontal. And it looks like the ID tag has had additional info stamped on it(maybe to indicate a factory addition of the pulley housing, but that is just my suspicion) Dad does not recall ever seeing the unit or using it on the farm. No idea where this came from or how old it is, but I would guess 50s or early 60s. I believe ... morethe ID info on the tag says: REO 660 HR27 H102897X The HR27 appears to have been hand-stamped after the main data was already there. This is a no-reserve auction with a $1 start fee. This motor WILL sell to the highest bidder of this auction! My plan for shipping is to encourage pickup if possible. But if that does not work, I can build a plywood crate and ship it out via UPS ground. I am throwing out a wild guess on the freight cost so I am sorry if that seems high.
