For sale is a 2005 Quincy QT-15 Duplex with 2 15HP motors and 2 pumps mounted on a 200 gallon tank. It has some minor imperfections on the belt guards. Fins on the intercoolers, and a dent on the control box, but overall it is in very good condition. This is a great compressor, capable of producing 51 ACFM@ 175 psi each for a total of 102 ACFM@ 175 psi at 923 RPM. At 1150 max RPM, the pumps are capable of producing 62 ACFM each at 175 psi for a total of 124 ACFM@ 175 psi. As you can see in the video, the compressor pumps can fill the 200 gallon tank in about 3 minutes. The air tank is good for 5 minutes of air in an emergency. There is a gage on the tank that tells you how much time is remaining once you turn the valve on. The unit appears to be unused with just a few marks on the air tank. I don't know the history of it so even though it appears to be unused I have listed it as used. The face mask has a clear protective plastic shield overlaid over the the clear plastic face that is part of the mask. The clear protective shield may need to be removed and re-attached to the mask as it has lifted up on one side of the mask. It is attached with a narrow thin black foam weather stripping self adhesive tape. I have put ... morea small piece of double sided tape to hold it down temporarily as I don't have the time to fix it properly even though it should be a relatively easy fix. It has nothing to do with the mask functioning properly or as it was intended. These cost around 500.00 new. There is an air coupling valve so you could connect another air hose in addition to the hose from the tank. This could be a real life saver in a house on fire and full of smoke. There are a lot of other applications that this could be used for as well. I have another one just like this one in the same apparently unused condition that I will list after this one is sold. Depending on what this sells for I may do a buy it now for the second one. Standard shipping in the box pictured within the US for 23.00. There is rust as usual in a carbon steel tank, recomend opening 1' drain valve up to blow dust out before puting on line. Tank was removed from paper mill in Ind. and delivered to Huntersville N.C. Updated valve into the new millennium with a new 2250 psi burst assembly. Imprinting around neck of tank reads: DOT- GAA 2250 45914 SSGP(or 55GP? 2074 + PST 3 79 Tank also has what looks like"F 64" stamped into bottom. Tank stands 28" tall including boot on bottom. Original adjustable straps on back with seatbelt-style latches. UN-PACKED. UN-BOXED weight on this(with air now drained) is almost 35 pounds.
