But was purchased at an auction with 3 other machines two of which were newer Stoelting units now being used in our store. I have tested the refrigerant cycles of this machine. The cylinders completely frost, and all motors function, but did not connect run mix through the unit. The unit is complete except the pictured stainless steel drip pan is not included with this machine. These Duke/Electro Freeze ice cream machines are very well made machines that could as all parts are still available. Go on forever. At this starting price you couldn't buy a H.C. Duke for parts. The other units sold where shipped at an average price of $700 one to Illinois and one to Indiana. This is a double mixer and has two of everything. In 1994 one side had been overhauled and the other still contained its original parts. The original parts appear to be worn out(so. I do not know the part number for the part in the photos. This mixer shaft is made of solid stainless steel. It is approx. 30" long overall. It weighs about 20 pounds. The shaft has a hex on one end that inserts into the gear-reduction unit and has some imprinted wear from the gear it sits in. The end(bearing/bushing) seal surfaces are in great condition. I do see a seal surface that is slightly worn from an o-ring. Overall it is in good usable condition. However. A good cleaning& scrubbing with a ScotchBrite pad would do wonders. My inspection is to the outside and is a visual inspection as to it's condition. It is my(experienced) opinion that this used part is reusable. Please look at the photos closely and examine them carefully. Feel free to ask me questions. I will answer them to the best of my ability.
