We hold a screwdriver from the top of the mix probe to the bottom of the mix pan. Next turned the auto/cleanout switch to the auto position. The compressor and condenser fan started and a mist of ice formed in the barrel in a couple of minutes. We also noticed the rectangular light go out on the front of the machine. AFTER PERFORMING THIS TEST. WE CLEANED THE MACHINE. HOWEVER, THIS IS A USED MACHINE. IT WILL REQUIRE TO BE CLEANED THOROUGHLY, SANITIZED, TUNED UP, AND INSTALLED BY A PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN BEFORE OPERATING.
