Electro Freeze FT-1 20 QT Commercial Ice Cream and Italian Ice Batch Freezer If you’re looking to get into the ice cream. We purchased this machine earlier this year for our own small business from a Rita’s Italian Ice restaurant that had closed down on the East coast. The machine remains in good mechanical condition and has been our primary batch freezer for making bulk 2.5 gallon Italian ice product for fundraisers, catering, corporate events, and birthday parties. The 20 quart chamber freezes quickly and the overall consistency of the product remains excellent with the newer resin dasher blades that were installed. These machines were manufactured under the Emery Thompson name up until the early 2000’s, which is often referred to as the leader US built batch freezers and frozen dessert equipment. It is a single phase 220V-250V machine electrically, so it’s easy to add to an existing kitchen or shop space as well. In regards to cooling, the FT-1’s are water-cooled machines, allowing them to nearly non-stop in a production type environment for a small business or even packaging distributor. As mentioned previously, there are(2) sets of dasher blades included with the machine, so depending on the consistency of product you desire, there’s two options in regards to the dasher blades themselves. The interior of the machine has been thoroughly cleaned and the overall steel base structure has been cleaned. Prepped, and re-painted. We’ve also replaced all of the internal 3/16” weather stripping and noise reduction material between the steel base and the sheet metal exterior panels. Up for sale. A used FT-1 Batch freezer for making Ice cream or Italian Ice. 24 qt capacity. This unit is in very good condition and was lightly used. It is single phase 220v. Water cooled.
