ARO 7538-A Air motor with bracket(used) This little air motor and bracket were removed from a machine that we had purchased for other parts which we had needed for the repair of a different type of machine we were working on several years ago. We had stored this little air motor in a dry location wrapped in an oily rag to protect it. Storage has not harmed this air motor. We have wiped the oil residue off of this item. This motor shaft turns with some torque required. Because there obviously is a gear train inside of it. When we turned the shaft we could hear the sound of what seems to be the vanes inside this air motor. When we turned this motor shaft while holding our finger over the ports. There was either a partial vacuum drawn or some pressure which was developed depending upon the direction of rotation. This held true both for the air ... moresupply port as well as the air exhaust port. We did not connect this to an air line to test it in actual operation. The supply port looks to be 1/8" pipe thread and the exhaust port looks to be 1/4" pipe thread. The exhaust port had been connected through an air hose to a common large muffler which had also served other pneumatic actuators on this machine. We did notice that the mounting bracket. Which is included with this item, has left hand threads. There is a small shaft key which we did not remove from the air motor shaft after we removed the previously installed flexible coupling which is not included with this item. Two 2 Twin Head Thomas Rietschle Air Compressor 180 VDC Leeson Motor
This is a lightly used air compressor powered by a 180 VDC 7.6 Amp Leeson Motor. The compressor is in good condition and turns freely but the plastic cover has some cracks in it and the front van cover has been cut off. See picture for details. There is a picture of one of the original air filters. There is no dirt in there at all showing this has seen very little use. This is used and is sold as is as I have no way to test it. I have a Antique Air Compressor motor made By Leland Electric Company in Dayton, Ohio along with the air compressor which isn't marked the numbers on the side are X2-30, also its all wire up to the switch on the back of the motor, belt pressure gauge copper line. My tank rusted out before the motor or compressor went. We should make things like we used to make them. I think the motor is around the 1950s. It works great, great compression, kept indoors. Maybe you can find a bike or something to put it on. My uncles father gave it to him and he had no use for it so i did some work for him and received this. This auction is for a 5.25 horsepower Gast reversible pneumatic motor. Model# 8AM-NRV-42A, powering a 2.5 horsepower Graco 225883 mixer. It clamps onto the side of the drum or whatever container you want to use. It has a maximum speed of 2500 rpm. It takes a 1/2" shaft and the length of the shaft should be 30" I can include a carbon steel shaft/blade combo for an extra $50 or a stainless shaft/blade combo for $100. Shipping to USA/Canada is included. We have 3 agitators with 2 carbon steel shafts/blades and 1 stainless shaft/blade but this auction is for one mixer without shaft. We have turned the shafts by hand and they all turn freely but we have not hooked them up to air.
