This large dial antique gauge measures about 11 3/4 inches across on the outsides of the bezel and It says Hydraulic on the dial but I don't know enough about these to know if it is hydraulic steam pressure or hydraulic oil pressure. I have no idea how to test it to see if it is working but it looks to be in pretty decent condition for its age.

Up for sale is an ACME 5000 PSI Hydraulic Gauge. It came from an Estate sale. It was nicely restored by the previous owner who was a retired Rail road mechanic. The bezel does unscrew and is very clean inside. Please look close at the photos. I do not know if it is calibrated or just restored for show. I did apply air pressure to the back and the needle did move. It measures 6 1/4" across the brass face. The body is cast steel. About 8 lbs. Please e-mail us with any questions or concerns. Akron Brass 9300 Combination Hydraulic Pressure& Flow Meter* Clean& Tested This auction is for an Akron Brass model 9300 Combination Hydraulic Pressure& Flow Digital Electronic Meter in great condition. Very clean former city fire department property. Fully functional when removed from a truck that was deactivated, according to the agency they were acquired from. As this auction begins, I have three available, as shown in pictures. Each bid is for one meter, not all three together. These were originally fitted with Setra 0-600 PSI transducers for the pressure inputs, which I also received when the meters were purchased. I don't know what type of flow transducers were used, as I did not get those items, for reasons unknown. I downloaded the User Manual, and all meters power up correctly, calibrate, and show good indication ... morewith a pressure transducer connected. The flow indications of the meters operate properly also, including calibration mode, but I couldn't check actual flow readings due to lack of a flow transducer, so that portion of the meter is untested& as is" though they should all be fine. When pressure transducer is disconnected from the meter, they all show correct error messages also, per pictures. No transducers are included, they will be sold separately, this auction is for the meter only. An example of one of those pressure tranducers is shown in the bottom picture. Meters operate using a 12 VDC power source. Photos are of actual items being sold. Note that the digits on the meters are actually red in color, they just look whitish because I had to shoot them without camera flash. Will ship via FedEx within the US, quality packed& insured. Up for sale is a really nice digital hydraulic pressure test gauge.Long with hose and Caterpillar style quick couplers, 30inhg to 5000psi or you can choose other scales like bar or kilopascal. I used this gauge quite a bit for performing transmission calibrations on CAT transmissions, and for normal fuel pressure, restriction, or basic pump pressures. This gauge and hose setup is ideal because the hose is 166" or 13"9" and when dialing in the pressures especially on an electronic transmission the clutch fill, and engagement pressure allows the actual pressure to match CAT ET the digital readout makes for a precise pressure, which in turn always leaves you with proper shifts. Not to smooth and not to abrupt.Works Great, and long enough hose to perform all tests from the operators seat.

The front face of this pressure gauge is brass. The housing is cast iron. It has a glass insert. It is 7" in diameter on the front and 7-3/4" on the back. The brass front is hinged, and had a key lock(I do not have the key) This large, heavy gauge weighs almost 6 pounds. The dial face is marked"The Hydraulic Press Mfg. Co. Mount Gilead, Ohio/ Tons on 10" ram hydraulic/ U.S. Gauge Co. NY/ 357. Apparently this was an indicator for a large hydraulic press. Full scale pressure is 636 pounds. It is marked 0- 25 tons. And in smaller numerals 0- 636 pounds. 636 pounds on a 10" diameter piston hydraulic ram is 25 tons.
