Precolumbian Pottery Shard Partial Reconstruction 6 1/2 inch Bowl
Pottery Shards Partially Reconstructed Bowl 6 1/2-Inch Diameter/ 2 3/4-Inch Deep This is a partially reconstructed bowl that measures about 6 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches deep. I picked it and other items at the estate sale of an avid collector who made most of his acquisitions in the 1960s. Areas collected included Arizona and Mexico. Beyond that. I do not know anything about the piece and it is time for me to clean out shelf space. I do note that the sides of the bowl"step up"my description and not a scientific term-about 1 inch from the base there is an obvious ring about 4 inches in diameter. I had this phone in an antique shop I closed years ago. Just found it again cleaning out my storage building. The reciever or hand set is not connected but is present. The phone itself is 9 inches by 6 1/2 inches. There is a note on the phone that says it was working but I do not know for certain. Believe I had bought this at an estate or antique auction a few years back for resale. It is heavy and has the workings or mechanical portions.
