British Columbia( just south of Vancouver)But in the early 60's he disappeared from his farm and was not seen for many years.This was the etory told by his old neighbours. It wasn't actaully known until just recently that Mr.Lam had decided that all he wanted to do was paint in his later life.and so left everything behind in Steveston in the late 50's or early 60's and then travelled back and forth between Hong Kong and Vancouver painting pictureswherever he went. 1950s Walker & Hall Lidded Hot Water Jug (3/4 pint)
This is what I presume to be a Silver Plated Hot Water Jug by Walker& Hall. As with all W& H pieces this oozes quality and weighs in at a substantial 500 grams. It stands 14cm high by 15cm from tip to grip. It has an eliptical shape with a thumbrest grooved into the handle and silver soldering to hinge and joints. The stamps tell us it was made in 1955 and has a 3/4 pint capacity. It needs a good clean but is in excellent condition.

It has an horizontal ribbed pattern on the rear side. It has vertical ribs around the sides. No chips or cracks. Unusual Squat Pony"Shorty" M" Mineral Water Up for sale is this unusual odd pony squat"shorty" small size short necked soda or mineral water bottle. Embossed"M" on one side and"MINERAL WATER" on the other. We believe this is a very early bottle, probably dating to sometime between 1845 and 1865, we're guessing. The bottle displays as a very deep green aqua to an almost light emerald green depending on the lighting; a very pretty bright color. Nice whittle, crude and bubbly with some very interesting wisps of milky colored glass in the bottom half; please see photos- very unusual! Also unusual are the mold seams at the sides- please again see photos- looks like an early 3 or 4 piece mold with a visible but faint mold seam at the shoulder as well as the sides like usual. Crude. Very thick and ... moreuneven slanted glass at the base, which is slightly oval. Early crude applied taper top. Iron pontil. With very little if any, perhaps a slight trace, of iron remaining, but you can definitely see where it was. This was a dug bottle in good condition, and we had it cleaned by a well known expert cleaner with good results. It still retains some relatively minor traces of ground wear and minor scratching-most noticeable on the inside of the bottle at the neck, with two very small less than 1/8 inch wide very shallow chips and 2 less than 1/16 inch tiny tiny chips that we note in the interest of being very accurate with our listings. Offering a vintage set of 9 Gold Encrusted Tiffin Optic Water Glasses. The glasses are made of an amber color crystal. The glasses ring true when they are pinged. The glasses measure 5 3/4: tall and 3 1/2" across the top of the glass. They are in excellent to near mint condition with no scratches. Nicks, chips, discoloration or stains. The 24K gold band is decorated with leaves alternating with berries, perhaps holly or cherry? The gold band is 3/8 inches wide and is also in near mint condition. There a a few minor marks on one or two of the glass rims. The gold band is heavy 24K gold that covers the exterior and interior of the rim. Not sure if there is enough gold content to warrant scraping the glasses. A very nice vintage set of Tiffin crystal water glasses.

Vintage Fiestaware Tumblers Set of 3 4.5" Tall For your consideration: Vintage Fiestaware Water Tumblers in good used condition(see detailed description below. Set of 3 4.5" Tall Rim diameter almost 3.5" Fiestaware water tumblers were introduced in 1937 and were in production until about 1946. Condition: This lot includes 3 tumblers. Their individual characteristics are listed below. Tumbler#1 has a spot of discoloration about ½” long. It almost sort of holographic- you can see many colors in it. I got a couple of pretty good pictures of this mark. Scroll down to see them. Tumbler#2 has manufacturing anomalies: 3 raised spots. Photo below. Tumbler#3 has a manufacturing anomaly: small indentation below first ring under the rim(I couldn’t get a picture of this but it is about 1/8” long. All tumblers have usewear.
